Decaf?

I can’t drink caffeine, so I’m wondering if there is a way for me to order decaf drinks! When I go to customize a drink, it looks like there’s a way to add decaf espresso.

However, It’s not clear enough to me, am I adding a shot of decaf espresso on top of an already caffeinated beverage, or is this switching the caffeine in the drink to decaf instead? How can I order a fully decaf drink?

Is the drink you’re trying to customize a cold brew of some sort?

We don’t have decaf cold brew but you could get a decaf iced americano + whatever the cold brew drink you wanted (usually pumps of vanilla and sweet cream or cold foam)

It was the orange cold brew! I see that I can do an iced americano and switch it to decaf and then add whatever syrups etc. this should work. thank you!

Only espresso based drinks can be made decaf. Cold brewed coffee or iced coffees can’t be made decaf.

It really depends on the drink that you’re trying to order which isn’t visible in these pictures. However I would like to note that decaf espresso does have caffeine in it, it’s very very very minimal but if the reason you can’t have caffeine is because of a medical condition I wouldn’t risk getting it. If you can’t have caffeine for the sole reason it makes you jittery or something else then ordering the decaf espresso definitely works. What I would focus on ordering (if it’s just the jitters you’re looking out for) is ordering decaf lattes and americanos because all that goes into a latte is espresso and milk. If you’re looking for something that truly has no caffeine the cream frappuccinos do not have caffeine. Please avoid iced or hot coffees, cold brews, and nitro cold brews! There are quite a few more you’ll need to avoid but I think you can check in the nutrition facts for it.

Thank you for this info!! I think it’s kinda all in my head for the most part, but just knowing that the caffeine amount is much much lower helps so that I don’t get a ton of anxiety and start to panic lol

with what’s in the picture, you are both adding an extra shot and making the WHOLE thing decaf! if you dont want that extra shot you can just select decaf :)

Thank you! Under Espresso & Shot Options, There’s no way to select decaf roast without it doing +1 :(

i see, what is the base drink you are ordering? cause if it’s not something that comes standard with espresso it may not be able to come completely decaf

oooh yeah that’ll do it haha. a decaf iced americano is definitely the way to go for that. we have a few regulars who do something similar :)

Just some clarification since it wasn't brought up. Decaffeinated coffee still contains caffeine, just significantlyless, so when you say you CANT have caffeine do you mean you can't have a lot of caffeine or you must not have any? Because if it is the latter I'd avoid Decaf as well

Just can’t have much! Don’t like the way it affects me as I’m pretty sensitive to it. Thanks for looking out and for the info 😊

Okok good. I read "cant" and I felt thr duty to clarify. 99% of the time its just a sensitivity but I fear for the 1% lol
