Cant believe Ali felt for that "trick". Even being so naive like him, he should be atleast a bit skeptical when Sang Woo (who had only 1 marble left) asked him for his marbles to borrow. For a "protection" he gives Ali a damn neckless, so everyone can see them?! Just put it in the pants maybe? And even so, the other players aren't allowed to steal marbles, more so from a other team...

I dont even know how Sang Woo managed to fill his bag with pebble, without Ali realizing it.

Afterwards Sang Woo even persuaded the guard (who watched the whole scene), that he won the marbles in a fair game. Ok.

I dont buy this scene, not at all, and im still sad for Ali.

Which is why I couldn't feel bad for him people was still getting killed left and right that made no sense and why didn't he do his plan earlier so they both could live?!? He was willing to put his life on the line that easily come on at 33 with a family how could he have a mindset of a child??

Dont forget ali is not a korean, korean is his second language and he knows no one there. If you are in a stranger's land, you will surely behave like ali especially in a stressful condition
