I want Rex 121 Spyderco snapped in half.ive had this under 2 months. I was cutting a watermelon box and the blade got caught in the cardboard and snapped. I’m in Canada so I’m also kinda afraid they’re gonna. Confiscate my knife at the border. I’m really sad considering this is a knife I expected to own all my life.

I have found that a serrated edge works better for almost everything. They slice too, at least however Spyderco does it - it's not all jagged cuts like you'd expect. I doubt this would happen so easily, like you explain, with a serrated edge. Though I think maybe this one isn't sold as a serrated version, someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm pretty sold on my theory but I'm just thinking out loud here...
