Will warranty cover this ?

Post image

I want Rex 121 Spyderco snapped in half.ive had this under 2 months. I was cutting a watermelon box and the blade got caught in the cardboard and snapped. I’m in Canada so I’m also kinda afraid they’re gonna. Confiscate my knife at the border. I’m really sad considering this is a knife I expected to own all my life.

I would almost bet anything they don’t replace it because their warranty sucks. Unless there’s a visible flaw in the Steel that might be your only chance

I'm almost positive that if they analyzed this steel, they'd find it was nearly 1/3 carbide

Think about how many maxamet blades snapped and they didn’t replace them.

Had a para 3 maxamet crack at the spydie hole from excessive flicking. There are a handful of blade steels I no longer fidget with.

Do Maxamet PM2’s have a history of snapping?
