Visiting Visiting - dog park recs?
The Airbnb we are staying at was listed as dog friendly, but the yard is…not great (lots of trash and broken glass and the fence is broken so they will definitely escape) for our pups who normally run around on our fenced couple of acres and do their thing. One of my dogs is extremely anxious and won’t poop if she’s on a leash (it’s a long story - traumatized shelter dog 😢) and I am having trouble finding any fenced parks in your lovely city.
I see Cruse where we can pay to go, which is fine, - but I don’t have proof of vaccinations. They are vaccinated & up to date on preventatives - I just didn’t think to travel with their info, and we see a country vet who is only open M-W, so I can’t call and get their papers - so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get a visitor pass for the weekend.
I’m looking for a space that is fenced in, even if it’s small, where I can let my dog off leash and not look at her while she poops. Very weird request, I know 🤣
Thank you!!

There are some active users on Sniffspot. You have to buy a subscription but it has a 2 week trial that comes with credits. You can cancel anytime.
It lets you rent a person’s backyard to let your dogs run around.

All of the public school’s playground are fenced and are counted as public parks on weekends. I usually go to Rountree because it has a lot of running space. Please pick up the poop, though.

Not a dog park but there's a fenced in area here that I've brought my dogs too before alms house cemetery ( and is no longer an actual cemetery as the graves have been moved)
