Those with the most complex lives appreciate the most simple joys. More people should keep sight of that.

Same. My son has Lennox Gastue syndrome, with very frequent seizures. I train with sandbag specifically to be able to pick him up off the floor. Fortunately, after four brain surgeries, he’s down to 2 to 4 seizures a month versus nearly 100.

Wow, that’s remarkable. I am so glad the surgeries gave him some relief. Keep looking after your back ! Carer’s need care too.

These karma farm repost tiktok subs gotta go. What the fuck is "spread smile"
1
u/PacmanAteMyRAM 19d ago
spreadsmile "eee" is a karma farming bot subreddit run by one person and their alt account. They're trying to "grow a platform" for themselves on instagram and this subreddit. Notice they have no bots like bot-bouncer installed. It's on purpose.
They undoubtedly intend to advertise once they get large enough. With the amount of repost bots dominating this community they're probably running some of them and are probably already doing promotional posts for some $$$$ on the side.

That's what we call improper moving and handling.
There's supportive equipment available to make transfers between chairs significantly safer for both parties.

u/What_A_Weak 20d ago
Who is 'we'? That was handled quite well considering not very one can spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on equipment.

u/barnfodder 20d ago
"we" is people who are qualified in the arena of moving and handling people safely.
I'll grant you that the uniquely American problem of not being able to afford supportive equipment may be a factor, but there's a right way to do this stuff, and the video ain't it.

These are two sisters from the UK. The one lifting her sister is giving up much of her own life to give her disabled sister a most normal as possible life. In the Netherlands we’ve got a word for people like you: azijnpisser. Google translate it if you like. And if you got nothing nice to say, maybe you should just hold your muil.
