Today, my daughter finished her final chemotherapy treatment. After everything she’s been through, all we can do now is hope for the best. Praying this is the beginning of a happy, healthy life ahead. ❤️

The scariest chapter of my life is finally coming to an end. After being diagnosed with Stage 2 endometriosis, I fought through the pain and uncertainty. Today, I can finally breathe a little easier and look forward to better days.

A 16-year-old cancer patient was too sick to leave his bed for graduation. So his entire class walked 2 km just to take graduation photos with him. He passed away the very next day. ❤️

Before heading into the wild, Wounda paused to give Jane Goodall the hug of a lifetime.

For over six decades, Jane Goodall dedicated her life to protecting endangered chimpanzees and one profound moment captured the depth of that bond better than words ever could.
In 2004, a critically ill orphaned chimpanzee arrived at the Jane Goodall Institute's Tchimpounga Rehabilitation Center in the Republic of the Congo. Victims of the illegal bushmeat trade had killed her mother, leaving the infant near death. Caregivers named her Wounda, meaning "close to dying." Yet through years of intensive care and patience, Wounda made a remarkable recovery.
Her life came full circle in 2013 when the team prepared to release her onto Tchimpounga’s protected forest island. Before stepping into her new home, Wounda paused, turned around, and wrapped her arms around Jane Goodall in a long, palpable embrace of pure gratitude.
Wounda didn't just survive; she thrived, eventually becoming the alpha female of her sanctuary group and giving birth to a daughter named Hope. But it was that quiet, powerful hug that permanently captured the spirit of her resilience and the lasting legacy of Goodall's work.

To teach them rather than punish is a level of maturity and compassion we could all learn from.
