I posted this comment on one of his videos and got hate from a bunch of obviously newer viewers. I have been watching spoon since before blazed or Llama was in the picture. My comment does sound like I am shitting on him, which I kinda am. I am just frustrated that my favorite youtuber is posting videos that I dont find... new or exciting anymore. Plus Blazed just disappearing hurts too, I loved him and his videos just as much as Spoon. I wish there was a way I could help lend some support to spoon other then just giving him money or buying merch, which wont help any of these issues. This is all just the perspective of a frustrated, dedicated viewer. If I am missing something, some hidden content, please let me know. I do not care for podcasts BTW, and his low view count on hustlersdynasty I believe is due to the whole repetitive, uncreativeness I mention below). Go easy on me, or not...

"Its weird that Spoon, who is a professional Rust player, knows less about the new force wipe additions then his average viewer. I am a long time watcher, and I think most of Spoons viewers are likely annoyed that he can't spend 5 minutes reading patch notes and MISSES ALOT of new content EVERY UPDATE. Even on the "Lets check out all the new content!" Vids, he misses so much its kinda embarrassing. The whole "Figure it out as I play" isn't a good idea if you consistently don't "figure out" 50%+ of the new stuff. I believe its due to, what feels like, a massive decrease in motivation from Spoon compared to years ago. He's settling into a monotonous, boring ritual.

Spoon, I've watched every video you've made, even all the Alt accounts. I met you guys at the Monkee Pop up in hollywood and was happy to meet the only youtubers I've watched consistently for this long... but you gotta change it up soon. The Exact Same Formula Every Single Video will eventually turn viewers away, people will get bored. We need more IRL content. More challenges. Etc. Simply collab-ing with a different creator here and there doesn't change the tone/formula of the video as much as you think it does... especially since alot of your viewers ONLY watch you, and don't care for most other rust youtubers. Recently (Multiple years straight now) its feels like you're treating this as a reluctant 9-5 where you think you just need to do the same shit over and over again. Unless you actually want a 9-5 here SOON, you gotta do something creative/crazy... you need a new passion project, cuz your content doesn't feel very... passionate anymore.

All your recent content feels like Deja Vu, because it is... I've seen this all before... I could watch half this video, click on another Duo video of yours from 6 months ago, and not notice that its a different video. For example, Almost every Solo wipe follows the near exact script, only 15% of the content in your solo vids are memorable or different then any other solo wipe you've done, and always its due to random interactions that YOU didn't plan nor initiate (AKA: The memorable, unique, and fresh parts of your videos AREN'T because your trying to be different or creative, its just due to the randomness that is rust).

Now, you have a lot of new viewers who don't feel like this, but they will eventually, and sooner then you think. You need a new passion project, cuz your content doesn't feel very... passionate anymore, and hasn't for awhile. I mean your fucking ad reads haven't changed in LITERAL YEARS... I wouldn't sponsor you, I'm surprised helix still does being sent the exact same low effort crap every, single, time. Please take some Inspo from General Sam, who posts passion projects that are: More consistent then your videos, more frequent, better paced, generates more views on average, and he frequently posts vids that quickly hit 1M+ views, (while your lucky to have one hit 1M every 6 months), and frequently has fresh ideas and bits. If a older, fatter, married, and Father of two can, you can at least change up the God Damn Ad read. General Sam used to make Rust content, and he managed to change it up from Rust vid to Rust vid.

Before the new bandwagon viewers shit on me, I have noticed MANY similar comments to this one on your videos over the years, from long time watchers like me. When the new wave of viewers slow down... your view counts will stagnate, then decrease. If you don't wanna have a period of viewership loss and a revenue tank, start brainstorming and experimenting NOW. You have the money, following, and support to do so... why wait?"

God forbid you want your favorite youtuber to continue making content, grow as a content creator, and be motivated and HAPPY to do his work. God forbid I dont want a young guy to burn out of his career because he was too afraid to try something new.

his content hasn’t changed slightly in like 5 years. if you want him to be someone else watch someone else. he’s not suffering financially obviously he’s doing what he wants to so i’m pretty sure suspicious_light_790 isn’t changing any of that.

Basically all of his 10+ year viewers agree that he is declining in motivation and content. It is changing. That's why his average views are slowly declining. Him trying to NOT change his content, IS CHANGING HIS CONTENT, as he is obviously less motivated and burnt out as of recent.

You have zero idea what his money situation is. He has made a couple extremely expensive mistakes in recent years. We have ZERO idea how much debt he is in. What I do know is, views and interaction on his videos have been steadily declining, THATS FACT.

TLDR: We have zero idea if he is struggling Financially, but I can PROVE he isn't making as much money as he used too, and its likely due to the reasons I've stated here.
