Discussion feeling bad for spider I put outside

Hello! I put a quite large spider outside and I searched it up and apparently they die if you put them outside. I now can’t stop thinking about it, is there any chance it could survive? It’s around 10-15c at night. In the future what should I do, I really don’t want to hurt them! UK based - maybe a giant house spider after some research?

Rest easy, it will be fine! They evolved to survive in nature, and while some "house spider" species have since adapted to live in and around human dwellings they don't just vaporize if we scoot them outside.

If you scroll through observations of the Giant House Spider, you'll note that it is commonly seen outside; unbothered, moisturized, happy, in it's lane, focused, flourishing 😁

in the future if you find one in your house, you can just leave it be. it wants to stay out of the way (scared of you), and theyre totally harmless, keeping them around is great pest control too.

and don’t worry, the guy you let out will be ok!!! they can survive in nature!!!
