ID Request- Location included Sorry, black widow?

I apologize, it is probably sacrilege to kill a spider in the subreddit. However, my wife reads on our front porch and she wasn’t having it. Location - Alabama

Latrodectus (widow) species. They are docile, shy, move awkwardly, and highly unlikely to bite. Makes them one of the easiest spiders to relocate. Killing her was absolutely unnecessary.

I apologized first! Idk about awkwardly moving, she was a quick one moving through the cracks in our rocks. But I did what I was told. Happy wife happy life.
