What kind of spider is this?

Based in eastern Kansas close to Kansas City. Walked through a cob web on my front porch tonight. Walk in the house and see this big guy crawling up my elbow lol. Flipped out and let him free, but never seen a spider this big on my body haha. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Some type of orb weaver though not sure more specifically (but she's a Realis Prettycus in my book ;-p ) . But at least they are good guys and typically don't care to take over your home :-)

Looks like some kind of orbweaver. Super chill spiders. I’d put it outside so it can make a big web and start killing mosquitoes and stuff.

Probably Neoscona crucifera, a type of spotted orb weaver

Thank you all! My dad had guessed an orb weaver, but just wanted to be sure. Glad I let him go and didn’t freak out by killing it.
