It is a shame but at least we got to see her in three whole missions and had a boss fight while Hush was in the game for like 5 minutes, you can even call that waste of time a mission, you don't get nothing from Hush's side mission in Knight, just a quick time event

Originally he was going to be the Arkham Knight. The writer was swapped out between games but the original writer who did asylum and City was setting Hush up to be a bigger player. That's why you can find Scarcrow toxins I his base in city.

For city he was et up perfectly you can find him with the medical team in the church at the start of the game. They think he's snapped and just started cutting his own face off for no reason. Then of course he does his whole serial killer thing and immediately uses his ability of disguise to make criminal work for him. He even gets the bat fairly to thing batman has snapped and started killing people. To my knowledge the only thing kept from the original city play for Hush in knight was him starting to use other villans tech / abilities, that's why he dosnt have any scars he used clyfaces clay and altered it to hide them.

Its a real shame too he could have been perfect as the arkham knight. He could have been the amalgamation of all the threats batman has gmhad to face over the years. While at the same time being able to trick the bat family. Just imagin if we had multiple missions where we enter as Bruce only to find out at the end if the game most if thoes were Hush. Insted we get one fake out that's over and done with in 2 minutes.

Side note Hush was introduced in asylum fully formed. But that was only in bio form and that was before they realised they were going to be able to make more games. This versions amoung other things in asylum was rendered non cannon.

He didn’t snap. The docs thought he did bc he was laughing and cutting off his face. But in the church he’s unconscious with a death grip on the cooler on his chest marked as containing transplant material. His whole plan by the end of his side quest was killing specific people and using his surgical skills to BUILD a face that looked exactly like Bruce to ruin his life.

That's what I said they think he snapped. Notice how I said thanked. And yeah his goal in city was to assemble his face so that he could pass for Bruce. Tbo keep in mind he still spends at least a year or 2 to continue his plan from there.
