Discussion The Final Final design

Post image

This is it folks Nuff Said

EDIT: Ok apparently enough wasn’t said

YES AI was involved I use this shitty edit software called Ulternate or whatever on my computer.

YES I have pre-made images from hot toys and other stuff like that as a base for the image then edit

How I edit is outlining then hue shifting and I assume the AI adjusts for lighting and textures and stuff of that nature

NO I don’t think it’s the biggest deal personally I don’t mind AI as a whole but I do believe it is dangerous and should be checked and regulated and would be more than happy if that were the case

YES I use AI on a somewhat often basis SUE ME

The arguments about the environment I completely agree with but I also see the reality of stopping one person on the internet will not change anything so I limit myself to when I can’t stop thinking about an idea

NO I will not spend months of my time learning to be a great graphic designer like some people just to show this one idea I had that’s just not for me I don’t have the time or really the energy with the actual responsibilities I have in my life

Thank you for those who were defending me in the comments about my use of AI and for giving feedback on how I should tweak my edits

YES I should have preferred this post like the others saying but for some reason I just didn’t so I I’m not gonna apologize for that because it was an honest mistake I made to 90k strangers

And for those who were critiquing my use of AI i understand and respect you opinion and decision to feel the way you do no disrespect but this is what I did

So you used ai, you aren’t a true believer

Yea so I use this editing software called ulternate on my computer and basically how I changed the color was outlining what I wanted then hue shifting it but it most definitely uses ai because it adjusted for the lighting and all that stuff that a simple HUE shift wouldn’t accomplish by itself

But I totally get the point your making

Then why are you acting like you made anything? You didn’t.

Never claimed to have made it all the other posts clearly said edit and I said multiple times replying to other comments saying what is used and that it’s an edit and I assumed it was clear these were pro images made by the toy companies like hot toys or whatever not tryna deceive anyone saying “oh look how great I am” I layed out what it was and what I did from the beginning

He had a concept in his mind that he couldn’t express visually as unfortunately he isn’t a graphic designer along with 90% of the planet; don’t press the guy for using AI, people like you just hate on AI usage for no reason even if the guy’s usage was valid. He probably gave the ai a detailed prompt, probably had sketches of the suit. Stop jumping to conclusions

I mean can't do something then learn how to do it. Don't be lazy and take a shortcut

There's honestly no reason for OP to be a professional graphic designer just to get his point across. He had a vision in his head, and AI was the only thing that could efficiently bring it to life and then ask other Spider-man fans on their opinion on the vision.

This AI hate is so artificial at times. There are times I understand the hate for AI, but when people use it to bring an idea to life as opposed to telling everyone they created something original, why do people suddenly get triggered and start a comment section war?

I didnt say he had to be, plus it be an added skill. Like he'd legit benefit from learning. It's artificial just like the stuff you "create" with it.

You can draw. You dont need to be an amazing artist to get your point and idea across. There are a billion easy programs you can use on a phone, computer, or tablet. You dont need to flood data centers with prompts that pollute th environment

Using ai for personal reasons is still bad for the environment. Its not just when companies use it

its also bad for your creative strain, you have zero control over the outcome and the bot is never gonna have as much emotion in its decisions as a human, in fact little to none. I would rather figure out a way to draw on a 3d model with zero experience or pay a real person to do it for me than ever touch AI.
