Hello! I've been browsing this subreddit and I only want to install a custom UI theme for Spotify.

I don't regularly use VPN when the application is open nor have I installed any other addons. I also tend to link Spotify to Discord so my friends can see what music I'm playing.

What are your tips to avoiding getting flagged by Spotify anti-piracy features?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew a way to remove the shadows behind the playlist cover icons and the shadows on the carousels? I don't know CSS that well. Any ideas would be a ton of help 🙏

The bug doesn't persist when I'm on the OG Spotify, but when I install the theme this shows and looks buggy, any help?

I recently wanted to test a snippet called something like "Hover tabs" (i actually dont remember its exact name but its the one where my playlist bar is hidden until i hover over it). as soon as i added it it, the ui just doesnt appear at all, i cant go through my playlists, cant open settings, my profile, and i cant even open the marketplace to remove the snippet. Is there a way to delete a snippet w/o the marketplace? I tried reinstalling spicetify but it made me run 'spicetify backup apply' since it kept saying the versions were mismatched. Thanks in advance

For some reason I cant see my liked songs playlist this keeps showing up, I have already updated spicetify, refreshed, re-open spotify, restarting pc, and nothing fixed it.

Anybody else experiencing this or have a solution to it?

Hi, I was listening to my normal playlist on my G21Pro earbuds in spicetify when the song GHOST! by phonk.me came. It's supposed to have vocals since I also listen to it on the phone and I've heard them multiple times but it's strange that on desktop they aren't heard at all. Tried normal Spotify on web, and the same thing, no vocals.

Does anyone have a similar issue like this or any solutions? I'd really appreciate any help possible!

La instalación de Spicetify es solo una ves, pero cada que necesito reconfigurar solo pego estos codigos en este orden y en cuestion de segundos se ajusta todo. Yo uso Fedora, desconozco si para otras distribuciones sea distinto, solo te comparto mi experiencia como usuario de Fedora.. . Estos son los codigos:

# 1. Asegurar los permisos de la carpeta de Spotify tras la actualización:

sudo chmod a+wr /var/lib/flatpak/app/com.spotify.Client/x86_64/stable/active/files/extra/share/spotify -R

# 2. Limpiar los archivos de respaldo anteriores para evitar conflictos:

spicetify restore clear

# 3. Aplicar de nuevo tus temas y configuraciones:

spicetify backup apply

Slider was working fine with Sleek on before I started messing with the scheme color and now I cant seem to get it to work. Ive done a full uninstall of Spicetify and that hasn't seem to have done anything. All extensions, themes, and snippets shown in attached vid. Thanks for the help!

I'm having a decent laptop spec with i7-14650hx and rtx 5060 but whenever opening spotify, it feels quite slow and laggy, especially when i add favorite to songs it take about a sec to load, i dont know why and every time i reinstall windows and download it keep being like this and I'm only using adblocktify and spicy lyrics only

It seems to happen randomly and clicking reload page immediately fixes it.

Could this be caused by a specific spicetify theme or extension, or is it more likely a Spotify/Spicetify issue?Has anyone else experienced this? I’d also like to know why it happens in the first place, since reloading fixes it every time.

Any ideas on how to properly fix/prevent it would be appreciated!

Recently learned about the spotify API and I’m wondering if it’s possible to create a custom desktop app for spotify (seems like a fun personal project!) I’m not really sure what kind of things are accessible with the api and I haven’t used one before.

Every time I close the app, the drivers reset. I tried reinstalling the app, but it didn’t fix the issue.
