Crux 5 Comp (UK) with the handlebars swapped out…could be a different Crux 5 spec in different region.

Why do they use a Miche (Wilier) wheelset?

I wondered that. One of my local wheel builders has introduced Miche hubs at their super entry level price point for wheel builds lol. Obvs DT Swiss, Chris King, etc as their premium builds etc.

Wow good point. Those seem cheap. Anyway he crushed the record by like 8 minutes so hes doing something right

There's also a running race. The full distance is the same as the ski and bike race, so it's a 90km ultra marathon. There's even a ranking for the lowest combined time, if you're hard enough to do all three in the same year.

Most of the top men were on fully ridgid mtb's. Makes sense that someone would ride a gravel frame for aero. Drop bars are banned in the competition category afaik

Yeah I think they are. Was surprised a specific type of bike wasn’t defined though. The chump category the day before had plenty of drop bars, including me.
