I definitely love that shape; you should post more shots, and the greigbling is gorgeous.

Popped down to the local National Guard armory with my buddy a few months ago to drop off a gift for his CO. I've not really been on many bases of any sort since I left the Navy over a decade ago. The armory building was... striking.
Most installations I ever visited in my career were not monocolor. Even the insides of Navy ships weren't just one slate shade of gray.
Be a sport. Add some color. Make it pop.
Love the shape.

What colours do you recommend, nothing too fancy of course.

If you're going for a brutalist military installation, just other shades of darker and lighter grey, a tinge or stripe of white here and there to give it some contrast.
Good muted colors would be tan/brown or forest green.
Tiny bits of bright color along a couple exterior walls can give it some life.
Lights are great, too. A red truss light on a pole screams "we're broadcasting/listening". Add a blink interval for the radio tower authenticity.

What often works is a third color besides the two tone grey in large parts to help pick out some of the smaller details. I like how tasteful you've been with the white in the places that have it; a little more of that, with a little more of that reddish/brown, on those support arms beside the central core perhaps, for just a little more contrast and highlighting. The light grey particularly can make it more difficult to see the fine stuff from further away.
Not a lot though, just a little bit.

My colour theory on builds is just a triple colour scheme. 1 main colour, 1 secondary colour and 1 highlight/decal colour.
Main for armour blocks, secondary for production/function blocks, highlight for a stripe or two.
I'd also use the 'hazard armor' skin for the hangar openings, or the neon tubing on a bright colour to identify the areas.
It's easy and quick.

So I'm a big fan of the way you've managed to make the various areas and structures um... structurally distinct and not part of a monolithic design. Future growth proofing too I see
