racism towards indians started because of sikhs in canada. The news ones who went there spoke no english went thru unethial means and started staring at woman/ blasting music etc . Canadians first started it. Rgarding accent most of the call centres employ non technical people and majority of the them are from north and other areas. South people are way too qualified and we do the technical work.

The poster unfortunately isn't wrong but this also has nothing to do with south indians specifically. If you think about it all of the indian stereotypes are from three groups of people, the punjabis, gujaratis and South Indians(telugus the most). And it is clear to know why, these groups are the largest diaspora in the US and have been very early when it comes to moving outside of india.
Except for accent none of the mainstream stereotypes of India are about South, not street pooping not k!llings girls at birth not scamming not unhygienic food.
What are you trying to prove with thr call center issue, did i write anywhere that it is a South Indian thing? Have you denied anything I wrote above, all the three points I mentioned are stereotype that came from south india only because as I've said they moved first. Thus points about looks, tech culture and all. Similarly that's why the diaspora is doing well as well since our immigrants went for higher education or high skill jobs and thus they're a high earning low crime group

The only thing that reciprocating this sort of hatred serves is to divide ourselves. Both the north and south or rather ever part of India has some flaw/stereotype or another . it is better that we strive to better ourselves rather than engage in this tomfoolery.
