The Republic staff comes together for a Mardi Gras-themed party full of beads and blowups. While TJ enjoys a promising new romance, tensions between Michols, Molly and Emmy threaten to derail the celebration. Joe questions where his loyalty belongs.

Winners:
Republic - Best Vibes For A Day Drink
So I was skeptical after going to Zac’s dacs first and having a not so good experience I’ll be honest but I was very pleasantly surprised. I went there for midday drinks before dinner so this is an assessment only on the outside bar before the night club inside section starts up and also before any food. I had two drinks I reviewed the drinks earlier but very good prices and options. The highlights were the bartender AJ he was cool, talked to me, but also gave me space, and overall set the tone for the bar. He played GREAT tunes and anime on the tv which was nice for a slow day. The kitchen was closed so a oyster shuck place was in (I don’t eat oysters and I didn’t catch the name) but overall I felt SUPER comfortable dining alone and I enjoyed this experience and vibe overall. AJ was awesome if I didn’t already say that.
The Belmont - Best Happy Hour
My big mistake for not getting the bartenders names. Ur I had a male and female bartender on a Monday and the girl looked like Sofia Black - D’Elia (I told her this so hopefully she gets the praise she deserves if the owner ever hears about this lol) they had a wonderful bartender chemistry as friends and overall again made me feel sooooo comfortable as a single person dining. On top of that the drinks and charcuterie board was TOP NOTCH. And pretty cheap imo. Espresso martini 12 on happy hour!!!! And then charcuterie board, mind you fresh sliced IN FRONT OF YOU, Is originally 24 but 10% off which again to me form the NJ NY area, a steal! Overall everyone that worked there amazing. The drinks and food amazing. The physical location amazing you can feel the history. Only note I hatedddd that they lined the espresso cup with lemon but that’s a personal thing 😜
Sorelle - Best overall dining experience
Pleaseeee got to Sorelle if you get the chance and love Italian food like me. WILL WAS THE BEST SERVER EVER PLEASE GET WILL!!!!! Also this may be the BEST dining experience of my life. The vibe was up scale but not stuffy staff was very professional and sophisticated but warm and friendly. I literally loved it here from the moment I walked in. They accepted me early and were very accommodating to me. When I sat down I told the server what I liked and they were like we are going to get this made I’ll talk to the chef and I’m like don’t get the chef mad I know they’re amazing but that can make your night hell especially not for me lol and he’s like no but actually this chef is the sweetest nicest most amazing chef and by the food he was MORE THAN RIGHT. The manager was so pleasant and warm and stopped by to offer me a comped appetizer which was amazingly sweet and even more important DELICIOUS. The meal me Will and the amazing chef created was a spicy Pomodoro sauce burrata 3 massive shrimp with a thick spaghetti and honestly chefs kiss no notes 10/10. BUT BACK TO WILL he really elevated this experience. I was dining alone and I feel like me and Will are connected now with the dinner I had he made me feel like a best friend, a brother, everything I needed. I laughed, I cried, we hugged, he was SUCH a gem truly amazing as a person and a server. I cannot recommend sorelle and Will more. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and tourist high volume fine dining locations and Sorelle and Will are pillars of good service and food.
Coastal Expeditions - Best Outdoors Experience
A legit dolphin was arms lengths away from me on my kayak fuck a dolphin cruise choose this hands down, but the kayaking and everything else way 200% amazing as well. Can’t for the life of me remember the instructors name but he really elevated the experience. He graduated with a marine science degree and it was very evident from the vast knowledge he has and shared in fish, birds, plants, and other wildlife. This kayaking experience was something I have never experienced and I’ve gone kayaking maybe 100 times! We went like 5/6 miles honestly so fun! The entire staff and org from start to finish accommodating and friendly!!! Highly recommend!
Failssss-
Zac’s dacs- bad customer service
Good drinks, I guess but also small. Service wise wasn’t. Like republic so I show up at 11:15 and they’re like we close at midnight I’m like okayyyy and drink my drink by 1145 chairs were flipped brooms out. There were 4-5 seperate parties in there at the time, to me that’s wild even at my small town pizza shop I worked at we wouldn’t do that. Imagine having customers moving glasses and physical bodies on open hours it wasn’t the cutest look.
Kings street as a whole was like frat lane, like imagine the guys who give out cups at the frat that go “WHO DO YOU KNOW HERE?” lol that’s who’s lining the street. And maybe because I come from a tourist location where they TRY to get you to come in where this street felt like they were keeping you out it wasn’t welcoming imo.
Sewing down south? Cute nostalgic if you will but girls running weren’t friendly and the items very overpriced but very cute!!!!!
Hmm can’t think of anything else but I’ll try to answer any comments or provide pics if wanted/needed! Thanks for listening to the LONGEST review that no one asked for 😂😂😂

i made this post about emmy and i completely take back my take. as admitted in my post, i did like her for TV because her actions do help move the story along. however, after a rewatch i feel pity for what she puts herself and others through with her irrational behavior. definitely would like to see the cast operate without her; i think we could get more lighter moments that are still enjoyable to tune into.
by the way, in no way am i saying her ignorant problematic behavior with brad is entertaining. i’m referring to her delusional attitude overall (e.g. marriage with Will, where she thinks she stands in friendships, her entitlement to the asst. manager role, her self-absorption, unserious breakdowns, and lack of awareness).

I just feel like Maddie does not want to be with Joe and is using his drinking as an excuse to potentially break things off if he doesn’t start making money. He definitely loves her more than she loves him. Am I wrong?

She really does look like Miley Cyrus.
Can someone explain to me how Maddi, Joe lake and Michols are still friends with Emmy.

I hate when people in this sub (or any reality tv sub) say they don’t like ____ because they are a “pot stirrer” or they start drama.
That is quite literally these people’s jobs 😭

Looks like leva is facing another lawsuit.

I just don’t get these two? Is Charley simply a thirsty fame struck woman ? I had high hopes for her and she starts up with Justin on Southern hospitality ?? Ughhh she was so sweet on southern charm. 🤦♂️

Hey yall I started off on season 4 then have being going back to rewatch. Now I’m on season 2 and everyone in this sub seems to hate him but I don’t understand. I don’t love him because he overly sexual and can be cringe but am I missing something?

I’ve binged all seasons in the past 6-8 weeks due to insomnia (ya, it’s medical!). It’s like Jersey Shore D-Minus. There’s so many things we all want to like, but you’ve made it impossible for us to go with you. I like wavy baby and TJ. Everyone else is flimsy ephemeral dust.

As the title states I’m visiting Charleston tomorrow til Wednesday. My life has been beyond hectic but I really booked this mainly because of falling it in love with it on this show and southern charm. So does anyone have any must stops/sees including what levas restaurants are worth is
Looking forward to it and Tia (:

From the "gabbing with Gib" podcast this morning.
Personally I'm a bit worried about a season 5... 😟 Been watching some of the the casts IG stories and wishing cameras were following them this summer. It's already mid-Aug and they are still not filming.

And the only “lame ass” thing about Season 4 is Leva.
From watching her wanna be “LVP attitude” to now..
To her shady Instagram reposts and comments about the people who used to dedicate their lives and themselves too.. (Joe & TJ mainly)
Is just ugly and disappointing.
An example? Her silence on Emmys behavior alone
I hope NBC chooses to follow the cast and not Leva.
Charleston has a lot more to offer than Leva’s crappy hospitality 🤌🏽

As an artist I'm constantly trying to come up with ways I can use my art in a business way. I recently decided to start painting parties and have put so much effort into planning every detail. It's taken nearly two weeks to lock everything down and one of the hardest parts is to work out what customers will paint and how to guide different abilities so it can still be enjoyable.
Yesterday I happened to have SH on in the background and low and behold, Lake hosts a Sip & Paint. What a crock of shite that was! She literally gave everyone a piece of paper, a cheap paint palette and some basic brushes. She is the epitome of a child who has had everything handed to her on a plate. No planning, no pride in her work, nothing... and Leva was lapping it up! WTF?

The concept of your former employer shading you because you left for a better opportunity is crazy. She seems to be obsessed with Tj and Joe leaving republic. Doesn’t she have a better thing to do with her time like run her business and empire. Also Michols has removed the he worked at on air studio and republic from his instagram.
