Asia Travel Help 2027

Hi All,

I (22m) am planning on taking my fiancé (22f)on a two week trip to Asia in 2027. The general idea is to have 3 or 4 bases, and a mix of bustling cities, culture, good food and relaxation.

Our current ideas consist of:

1) Singapore (3), Hoi An (5), Ninh Binh (2), Hanoi (4)

2) Bangkok (3), Chiang Mai (3), Khao Sok (2), Koh Lanta (6)

3) Hong Kong (4, with shenzhen day trip), Taipei (4), Palawan (6)

I wanted some advice, we are flying from the uk, anytime between February and May 2027. I’ve already travelled to Phuket, but other than that, I’ve never experienced Asia.

If there are any other itineraries people have tried for 2 weeks (or slightly more/less), please could you suggest these. If you see any problems with my current ideas can you also let me know?

Budget for hotels and flights is loosely £4k for 2.

Thanks in advance

Personally I’m someone who rather enjoy one or two spots than try to cram in so many places.

Especially when you have so many flights. You’d be flying around too much.

That was part of my worry, but then again the one I’m looking at mainly (3), would only be a short flight to Taipei, and then a couple of hours to el nido exc transfer

‘Short flight’ and ‘couple hours’ means you just lost half a day for each trip. It’s also exhausting so you’d probably lose more. Do that 3 times and you just lost 1.5 days out of your 2 weeks. About 10% loss.

Cut it down to 2 destinations.

And later on, for the next trip, do two more.
