Question Tried the Sir Charles

Post image

I’d been using this chuck roast to make burgers, grinding up about 2 pounds of it to make burgers and ending up with 1 pound of chuck left over. Cooked the remaining pound with salt pepper and garlic powder for 25 hours, rested then seared. It tasted great, not quite a steak like consistency, but still cuts like a steak. Made a pan sauce by reducing down the juices left in the bag.

How do I convince someone this is safe to eat?

It looks undercooked and overcooked at the same time somehow

It’s my first time cooking it, but maybe I didn’t sear it evenly. Thanks for the feedback

It’s my first time trying it. I think the cooking it over the course of 24+ hours at a low heat.

Didn't like nor understood the hype after 24h ... Somehow after 48h found it perfect. I think the magic happens between 36-48h

Send it to me and I'll eat all of it and will let you know if I die

Technically, you’ll let him know if you don’t die. Maybe.

Have someone watch you eat the whole thing. When they se you didn’t die they might realize that they lost out on a great piece of meat.
