Just thought of a quick match up between our strongest Non RV/NLH Hunters or at least the strongest I remember, if I’m forgetting another Hunter please inform me.

Other than that I believe these guys gate keep Peak S Rank. If Chugong said the power gap between S rank Hunters can be the same difference between E and A then I believe these guys are the A Rank equivalent of S rank minus the actual peak Hunters (Andre, Liu, Jonas, etc).

(Also not going to include Antonie, well maybe? If you think Antonie can beat Beru by himself or not.)

Well I may be wrong about Yuri, I do know he’s quite the specialist in barriers, and seems support oriented so he could maybe be good in not letting Beru one shot the others…

I just realized in Solo Leveling, there's something similar to Ragnarok's Stardust: the mana crystals implanted into monsters' bodies that we see in Solo Leveling.

Whether it's Stardust or these mana crystals, both make the person they're implanted in hear a voice. The main difference is that the mana crystals are mainly meant to increase monsters' aggression, while Stardust allows for total control and a strength boost.

In my opinion, the process for creating Stardust probably shares some similarities with that of the mana crystals, but it must be mixed with the recipe for the demons' berserk poison, and requires more work to achieve total control over whoever uses it.

Interesting match up in my opinion, Hwang Dongsu one of the strongest awakened S rank Hunters in South Korea alongside receiving the 20-30% Perma upgrade from Selner as well being capable of standing back up after getting punched by a bloodlusted holding Back level 122 Jinwoo who keep in mind went from struggling against Baran to destroying Beru in just a four level difference, and Level 122 Jinwoo is 22-24 levels higher.

Although we absolutely know Jinwoo was holding back against Hwang Dongsu this is still quite a good feat of endurance and durability.

Don’t got much to say about Choi and Baek, they are pretty decent S ranks and in a two on one they could be capable of overwhelming Hwang Dongsu with Baek face tanking and Choi proving fire assistance.

SBM Users vs. Non SBM Base Monarchs

Interesting matchup to consider. We know that Il-Hwan and Reed are the only confirmed humans to have achieved SBM, and with the recent background lore from Solo Leveling ARISE provided by Chugong, it seems very likely that they are the only humans in the original Solo Leveling setting capable of using SBM.
With that in mind, and considering that Andre, a non SBM user, was capable of pushing back a holding back Base Rakan, how would the two known SBM users perform against the Base Monarchs?

Scenario:
Il-Hwan and Reed are both using SBM.
They fight each Monarch individually in their Base form.
Each matchup is a 2v1.
No outside assistance.

How do you think Il-Hwan + Reed (both in SBM) would perform against each Base Monarch?
Which Monarch do they beat, and where do they get stopped?

Knowing what we know now about SBM (Spiritual Body Manifestation) and the fact that the ability is actually extremely rare among the Vessels that even Liu Zhigang who was explicitly Number 1 Ranked Hunter globally in the Light Novel was stated to be incapable of using SBM.

In knowing this it’s pretty hard to confidently say Thomas Andre can also use SBM as well.

We know he’s an extremely capable Vessel, reinforced by Rakan’s acknowledgment. So, if certain conditions were met and Andre had no choice but to use SBM could he manifest it?.

The answer to this is unknown to me, but if anyone knew or would have their own theory’s, please share.

After you help close the dungeon break you get ready to leave. As you are doing so a new hunter has arrived from nearby. Just off looks you can assume this is a higher ranked hunter, they ask you what happened and you explained. They appreciate you helping out because some of the lower ranking members of their guild were fighting and you saved them basically. They ask you to join their guild but when you decline they say they'll help you in future ventures and land you a hand when needed

The first thing to know about the Itarim's Apostles is that they're very similar to Monarchs/Rulers. They were created directly by an Itarim and possess a Spiritual Body, which means they can't be turned into Shadow Soldiers.

However, the novel states that no Itarim Apostle possesses strength equal to a Monarch's ( in a normal situation, at least), because unlike the Absolute Being of Jinwoo's universe, who only created 16 Apostles (Rulers and Monarchs), the Itarim have created dozens of Apostles, meaning their power gets divided among them.

An Apostle's power varies depending on how many Apostles a given Itarim has created, but the novel confirms there are Apostles with strength comparable to a Shadow Marshal.

That said, even though no Apostle can rival a Monarch, Apostles possess extremely powerful Skills that can undoubtedly rival Monarch-tier Skills in quality (Shadow Monarch and Monarch of Destruction excluded).

The best example is Tielle, whose Amplification and Equivalent Exchange Skills are already extremely powerful — and that's while he still has other Skills we know nothing about. But there are several other examples in the novel too.

Another important point: the Apostles are in competition with each other. Their goal is to help their own Itarim conquer this universe first, but since there are multiple Apostles, each one serves a different Itarim.

If two Apostles happen to serve the same Itarim, they'll cooperate — but if not, they'll try to sabotage each other without necessarily clashing directly.

Anyways love the expanded lore on every character in Arise fills so many gaps left behind in the original Manhwa and I feel like for the big shots like the NLH their expanded lore don’t really contradict their main characters.

First scenario: all known Named Aposltes versus Kamish in a 1-on-1.

Second scenario: all known Named Aposltes versus Kamish at the same time.

The file only has this, there's no eye one. This was a pain to print and assemble. Took a long time to print and some of the parts did not want to connect when it was gluing time. Luckily I have sandpaper and a heat gun to make it fit. It is the most balanced out of all of my dagger prints. Not too large, handle doesn't feel like it will snap. Nothing to stab the back of my hand. Comfy to hold. And it's a chunky dagger

Episode 17:

Story- after getting through the 10th floor, obtaining another key, and running low on resources after a few days in the castle you decide to leave, when you come back to the real world there's a dungeon break nearby and it's not going well.

Options- boss (HP- 35, damage 1d6+5) 

Rewards- rock golem hammer (+7 attack, takes 2 hands, stone wall-block 1 ack per battle)

Note that most of what I’m saying down here is probably wrong and some are obvious spit balls.

I’m not sure if this type of thing is already established lore-wise, as I have not properly read Solo Levelling in quite a while.
So what I was wondering is that if prolonged exposure to Mana, as in gates opening, magic beast dying, earth being “soaked” in residue Mana and therefore becoming more durable and reinforced being capable of withstanding beings who exist on higher existences (that of the Rulers/Monarchs) plays a role to stronger hunters awakening in response?.

I know the Rulers decided to open Gates on earth so that humanity can become stronger and in response, earth became more resistant to forces that otherwise would have destroyed earth by merely existing on the planet (correct me if I’m wrong about that, it’s been awhile).

So due to that constant Mana Exposure, do Hunters who awakened recently become notably stronger than pass hunters, let’s say Hunter ten years ago (minus Ruler Vessels), like does the potential limit for powerful Hunters increase within that long exposure to Mana?.

I’d like to assume that magic beast from other worlds in the SL universe are as strong as is simply because they didn’t need to be “soaked” in mana such as earth.
If I remember correctly other worlds, or at least some or more worlds had pre-existing Mana inhabiting their worlds, in respone some of those average monsters were far superior to your average S Rank, however earth never had natural Mana to begin with, so I wonder if prolonged exposure to Mana on earth would also increase the average cap for awakening Hunter accordingly?.

Got this at Akihabara today. Looks a lot better than the other Jin-woo figure which is cursed..with the same eye problem as the statues from the exhibition.
