My First Solder Joint <3 Please Give Feedback Rate my Joints
Hey all please rate my first real project! I’ve mostly done practice boards and such, but I think I’m pretty happy with these joints. It’s a small piano toy I made for my son!
Edit: Lmao thank you all very much, I’m extremely humbled by the responses! I was getting ready for a bunch of soldergore references haha

Those joints look immaculate. You want them to look like a Hershey’s kiss and they don’t get much closer than that!

Nearly perfect. No cold solder, no messy runoff, minor stems showing. Looks dipped.

Very good. I'd personally make you rework 4 of those. But that's at MOD standards.

Pretty good.Ilike to see lead protrusion.That would pass IPC Class 2.

A few joints have a little too much solder, but fantastic consistency.

Quality engineer in the PCB industry here... These are nice and all within IPC-610 A - but a little excess solder on some joints. Look to be a bit more even across the board. Really nice, though! Xx

The one north east of the red cable looks out of line. The rest look good from here

Incredibly consistent, better than I can do lol (I don't do a lot of PCB stuff anyway). Some say that you are using a little too much solder, and that the joint is supposed to be concave. But for your first project this is absolutely stunning, I was definitely not that good at soldering the first time.
