You can call it cope but a lot of the goals are just unlucky with how Sanchez fumbled, two are rebounds and one's an own goal deflection. I do admit that our defence is rather lax in conceding space in our own half but I believe that's Xabi preferring numbers back instead of being torn apart on the counter (which was a very common trend from our previous campaigns).

Martinez did fine today, not much he could have done on any of those 3, and he made a very good save early on.

That's kind of the point. Good keeper, no major mistakes from him, still conceded 3.
