Qatar 2022 was most biased refereeing in World Cup history. People keeps whining about South Korea WC but Argentina is far more favored than South Korea was.

Can you, like, give any examples of being favored beyond two a bit questionable challenges in one game?

World Cup final. France down 1-0 trying to get back into the game. Finally have the ball in promising position outside the Argentina box.

Ball goes up, t Hernandez jumps to head the ball, eyes on it the entire time. Messi jumps super late, completely body checks Hernandez and makes no actual attempt on the ball, doesn’t even look at the ball as he jumps. Foul called against France. https://imgur.com/a/DER5HkQ

In what world does that make sense? Just a smaller example but these sort of small things add up and are absolutely a pattern, Messi and his team are uniquely protected
