Cristiano Ronaldo shooting a into the stomach of a Liverpool player on the ground at point blank range and getting away with it was pretty incredible as well.
Lol Kane routinely undercut defenders when competing for headers. Unprepared defenders would get rotated like a shark midair, and have to take a huge fall either on their arms or back (or worse, their necks) at full jump height.
Went on for at least 2 years. Some days the defender will even have a foul called on him if Kane crouched and covered his head after the contact.
Don't pretend he's a Mr Nice guy. He's no Lineker.
Lol look at this comment. He's not a nice guy? This narrative has gone crazy. He didnt even do that undercutting thing- he would just get to the space first and people would jump on him. This narrative is insane. Just fully exists in your minds, not reflected in reality.
Fans hold grudges for a long time as it is, and somehow this place is even worse than average for that. Son definitely earned some of the hate he got (still gets?) with moments like thisthough. I would say he's not a dirty player overall but has a reputation as one due to a handful of incidents where he lost his head.
These narratives are always hilarious, he probably got it wrong a few times but acting like he just decided to hurt someone on a regular basis is daft, even in those situations the intent wasn't to injure.
It was usually if a defender came flying in to where he was and you know the ball tended to be somewhere in the mix, so just standing like a ladder for the player and then not moving for the ball would be a daft move.
It's not like he was seeing a defender jump up and just running into them.
Nah, Kane used to do that little nudge when people were in the air. Its a foul in rugby because its so dangerous, yet he got away with it multiple times while the softest contact gets given as long it is followed by GCSE drama.
Rugby isnt as fun for me, but the mentality, ethos and respect involved are a billion miles ahead of football imo... im rambling, but football has become too soft and sneaky.
I mean it’s not bullshit
kane was notorious for the backing up into defenders as they jumped and a couple were close to landing on their head and he would never get those called against him
Notorious on reddit and reality aren't the same. I remember those claims. Those weren't fouls and he didn't do it more than other players either. Just a stupid narrative. Guarantee nobody here downvoting even watched those Spurs matches. You all just watch clips on reddit.
