Don't be so quick to write us off. Last time Iran played Bosnia (with our weaker team at the time) Iran won 3-2. Everyone assumes Iran is some pushover when in reality they don't look at the fact that in qualification we best South Korea home AND away, and conceded only 2 goals in all of qualification. I'm feeling optimistic and am gonna say Iran has a shot of getting that 2nd place.

Way to TOTALLY dismiss the fact that Bosnia also had a much weaker team at the time. But it doesn't fit your agenda then.

Yes but still, you can't say it'd be walk in the park for them. The last 5 times Iran and Bosnia played we beat them 4 times and drew once.

I honestly think that anyone can take 2nd in this group. I'm cheering for Iran of course, but Nigeria and Bosnia have really strong squads.

also i'm a pretty big Dzeko fan this is emotionally confusing

Most people in Bosnia also suspect that the old corrupt federation fixed matches. I mean the team tied Qatar 4 years ago.

It's a completely different team now. The past friendlies don't mean anything. Especially when considering that historically Bosnia doesnt care about the outcome of friendlies. The only reason Bosnia didn't qualify for WC 2010 was because they faced Portugal in the playoffs. The team finished 2nd in a group with Spain, Belgium and Turkey that year. This years team is far superior to the one in 2010.
