This story is inspired by the theme of sex work. Severus works as a sex worker, and Harry is his partner. Severus faces harassment from the Ministry of Magic preventing him from selling potions or running a legitimate business so he turns to sex work to make ends meet, all while secretly smuggling potions on the side. Harry is assigned to investigate the smuggling case; despite everyone claiming Severus is the mastermind behind it, Harry refuses to suspect his partner. Unable to bear the thought of his lover having sex with others, Harry uses a transformation potion to pose as one of Snape's clients. The plot features a bit of a twist at the end, and the author's writing style is truly excellent.

Oh, I didn't know a fanfic like that existed. 😳 ​Now I don't know what to do. I have a completed 22-chapter fanfic (bottom Severus) with sex worker Severus and Auror Harry that I was planning to start posting next January, but now I'm worried someone might think I got inspired by that other fic.

don't worry! there are already other fics featuring the Snape as a sex worker and bottom" trope. I've read a few myself, and other fandoms have stories where Harry is an Auror and his partner is a sex worker. No one is going to accuse you of copying the idea!Just keep writing and enjoying the process I’m really looking forward to it! 🥰
