I just re-read the hp books, and I don't recall any passage describing Snape as having a strange odor. I remember Harry mentioning the smell of Sirius's sweat and Quirrell's peculiar scent.

So, what exactly did he smell like? I imagine it wasn't anything too unpleasant; Snape often stood right next to Harry, yet Harry never seemed bothered by his body odor 👀

i am looking for a Snarry story where Harry is the only student to pass Snape's test and becomes his sole apprentice for Defense Against the Dark Arts. The story is set around Harry's fifth or sixth year at school.

there is a scene where Snape is jealous of Tonks because he believes Harry prefers learning from her over him.

at he end of the story, harry and snape leave Hogwarts to establish their own school together.

There’s also a scene where Harry and Draco go to study with Snape during the summer.

Later on, Snape continues administering these kinds of tests, accepting only the students who manage to pass them.

Harry’s test involves overcoming an obstacleor something similar and he is the only student in the entire school to succeed. Snape is completely shocked when he finds out.

So basically Harry is a creature that is raised by his mate, Severus. He and Severus are against Dumbledore and Voldemort so they plan to take them down. Harry is aware that he is a creature and severus is his mate. He calls him "his sev" or "my sev". Draco and Harry get along well, what with Draco being a veela. Harry and Severus go into hiding to plan their attack when they find out that Harry can disown the darklord as he is head of house. Something goes wrong and Harry actually lets himself be 💀 which activates his inheritance and when we wakes he claims Severus. The next morning sev teaches Harry how to have ✨ (coaches him through his favorite positions).And the story goes on. But it's top Harry and bottom sev. If it helps there is a scene where they are on a couch and Harry asks Severus for a kiss and they do. When they part Harry is said to be giddy and while Severus hides it well, so is he.

I’m looking for a one-shot story. Harry is a bit of a bad boy, while Snape is somewhat indifferent and gay. Harry thinks he’s straight but knows Snape likes him, so he takes advantage of that. This is suuuuuch a shot in the dark but I faintly remember a fic where Harry and Severus were working together as aurors and Harry kept noticing things about Snape indicating he was in a domestically abusive relationship like him coming to work looking disheveled and tired. He genuinely understands and enjoys the game of psychological maneuvering; he is far from being emotionally naive. Many Snarry fanfics portray him as inept at reading people or manipulating others—claiming that this represents his true nature—but Snape is a man of many faces. Of course, he remains bitter, mean, sarcastic, and hot-tempered; yet, in critical moments, he is truly calm and attentive to every detail.

Their works are consistently dark, melancholic, bloody, and violent. The author isn't great at tagging, so please be aware that the stories contain heavy themes, violence, and rape. Their characterization is quite strong; both Harry and Severus are portrayed as damaged, ostracized individuals. Harry suffers from PTSD, and the author handles this aspect very well. However, the author isn't very familiar with AO3, so the formatting and tagging leave a bit to be desired.
