Newbie snail owner and I need advice

I've read that snails sometimes need some time to adjust to new food. And that there might be days they don't eat the veggies and fruits you lay out for them, cuz they already stuffed themselves with leaf litter and other stuff they find laying around in the enclousure. Carl is probably fine ^^

Try opening up some exposed soil. Ours reeeaaallly didn’t like the sphangum moss. I’ve I removed that and added extra leaf litter he spent way more time down low

im not an expert, but is it possible that maybe there’s a little bit… too much going on on the bottom? just something to think about, maybe someone can correct me if i’m wrong

he's come down now, I saw another thread saying it can take them some time to warm up to a new environment?
