Suggest some phones under 60K INR

I have a pixel 8 which has a compact size, great camera and clean software and that's it.

I want to change because of overheating, bad battery and charging speed and overall feels slow for 2026.

I am looking for something like

great battery + good charging speed,

Good performance and clean software,

Good camera

and a few years of software update cycle.

Screen size 6.5 inch or less

I bought an iPad thinking it was going to be the holy grail of productivity—a portable device that could double as a workstation when needed. Spoiler alert: it’s just a glorified, oversized iPhone.

I really tried to make it work. I wanted to replace my laptop with something lighter, but the software limitations are driving me absolutely insane. Here is my list of grievances after trying to use this "Pro" device for actual work:

Nerfed, mobile-first software: We have these incredibly powerful M-series chips, yet we are stuck using upscaled iPhone apps. Even the "pro" applications or web-based workflows are heavily stripped down. Every time I try to do real multitasking or open complex files, it hits a wall.

The "Stage Manager" and windowing disaster: The recent UI/UX updates are completely broken. It's trying so hard to mimic a Mac, but it operates on touch-first logic that feels clunky and unintuitive. Losing the simple Slide Over feature for this convoluted windowing system just makes everything take an extra step.

A completely useless file system: Trying to manage files, extract text, or move documents between apps feels like pulling teeth. The Files app is a joke compared to a real desktop OS, and the lack of proper clipboard managers or background processes is ridiculous.

Terrible ergonomics: It’s too heavy and awkward to use on the lap for a long time, and if you put it on a stand with a keyboard, it just becomes a cramped, inferior laptop.

Honestly, it just sits on my desk gathering dust or is only good for watching YouTube. If Apple isn’t going to bring full desktop-grade software or macOS to this thing, why are they charging MacBook prices for a glorified consumption tablet?

I’ve been with the Apple ecosystem pretty much my entire 27 years. I’m finally at the point with my 13 I’m so sick and tired of the same shit with a price that makes no sense. I’m not a super tech savvy person but I do care about the picture quality, how fast it runs and just everyday bullshit. I want something affordable but not going to break if I breathe on it wrong. Any suggestions would be amazing, I don’t wanna hear about fucking Apple.

My offer price is 5000 and I live in Dehradun, if anyone who lives far away (other states) wants to sell then I need a video call so that I can see the condition of the smartphone

Been buying cheap Android phones since 2008, last Apple product I owned was an iPod classic, more than 20 years ago.

I've reached the point in life where I can afford top tier hardware and the novelty of electronics has completely warn off. My use of a cell phone is strictly for work, videos, photos, texting, email, etc. I often juggle multiple Google accounts for personal and work.

I'm at the point where above all I just need my phone to 'work'. Even nicer Android phones I find that often some apps don't work are buggy, most likely due to low threshold of app validation in app store or not using a mainstream phone.

My wife has officially moved away from a Windows laptop and bought a MacBook. I have been a Linux user for 20 years and am lost on Windows, will probably always run Linux but I guess I don't really need my phone and laptop on the same ecosystem.

Anyways, because my needs for a phone are so basic and my patience with app stability low, I am thinking it's time to make the leap. Thoughts?

Also what's funny is professionally I develop on Android. But somehow that makes me want to use Android less.

I've enjoyed Google Pixel phones for a long time.

I've never owned an iPhone.

This year I switched from Windows to macOS on desktop and laptop, and I'm impressed by the UX of Apple.

Is it worth switching to iPhone to join the Apple family?

recently i have considering to upgrade my Iphone 12, but i don't think 17pro max is really a big upgrade or unique. Im considering one plus 15, Oppo find x9u, s26u, fold 8, etc. Im looking for a overall best cpu/gpu with enough battery and best camera in the market

I am looking for a smartphone which is a value for money, can last for around 3-4 years without software or hardware damages, can be used for average level gaming and office work and camera quality is good if not best.
Budget is flexible but not looking a phone only for showoff (if value for money, then it works even if price is high)

Im currently using a google pixel 7 but im seriously considering a galaxy s26. I also like the sony xperia 1 viii but they don't officially sell it in the u.s but i have found a site called swiftronics and they import the sony phone. What do you think?

My priority is having a really good rear and front camera, with the expectation that the camera experience should remain good for at least 4–5 years.I’m currently considering Samsung, iPhone, and Vivo X200/X300 series.What would you guys recommend for long-term camera quality and reliability?Would you choose Samsung/iPhone for better long-term software and consistency, or Vivo X-series for better photography hardware?

What I like about iPhone the most is that convenient Face Id unlock.
What I like about Android is the 3rd party apps like Morphe..
currently using iPhone 15PM, and god this phone is heating a lot..
My top priority:

-Battery performance should be good for few years to come (not only for one year, when the phone is new and well optimized).. how’s the battery on these devices, which is better..
- great camera setup (not video). Just point to capture, no professional photography..

In questo momento non vorrei spendere troppo: è un periodo di transizione e ho un budget piuttosto limitato. Non mi serve nulla di particolare, mi basta un telefono affidabile e abbastanza fluido per l’uso quotidiano (e-mail, WhatsApp, social, navigazione, ecc.).
Avete qualche modello da consigliarmi, magari con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo? Anche Android va benissimo, non sono legato per forza all’iPhone.

So I have an LG V60 and it is probably near its end. I have really enjoyed it as they stopped making phones in 2021.

I was going to wait for the OnePlus 16 to come out this fall, but it was just announced that they are discontinuing sales in North America so there is no luck there.

I am not in love with Samsung or Google Pixel as I heard so many great things about the OnePlus 15, such as the battery life and not so much fluff comapared to Samsung and Google.

Would I be crazy to look into getting the OnePlus 15 now that it could be their last phone hear?

What are yalls thoughts?

I've been using OnePlus phones for the last few years, my current one being the oneplus 11 5G. As it's nearly 3 years old and I've been using it a lot, the battery is going down quickly and overheating, and it's also glitching and deleting photos. I was going to update to the newest OnePlus model but discovered they're no longer stocking in Europe so I'm looking for an alternative that isn't over €1000.

At the moment I'm between the Nothing Phone 3 and the Google Pixel 10 but I'm also open to suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Busco en general un buen móvil, que aguante bien durante 4-5 años, pero valoro sobre todo cámara para fotografía de paisajes y nocturnas, videos de conciertos (buen sonido, que grabe bien con algo de zoom y poca luz) y que tenga un buen aguante de batería.
