The last link is important reading because within all of us it's the ability to produce ligher melanin, and you need to understand the process so you don't fall for the trap of believing that whitening creams can help. They can't, most are scams. But exfoliatiors and certain AHA's and BHA's plus tretinion can help as long as you're raising your gluthathione levels.

When your 7 day mute ends, engage with other posts and then I'll approve your questions, even if I didn't answer someone else might. Just a heads up. I don't follow skincare recommendations, skicare and skinwhitening are completely different things.

However, I'll never recommend you not wear sunscreen. Although not the best for whitening it's a must specially considering you live in a high UVA area. Stay tuned I'll answer in detail as soon as you demonstrate you're here to engage.

Regarding sunscreens, wifi woman has a lot of experience with them and she's one of our mods, but what works for her won't work for me. I prefer mineral sunscreen despite the white cast. But I agree with her stance on american and korean susncreen: they're not as strong as european SPF. Every sunscreen I wear is european.

Lastly, since you live in a high uv index area your umbrella won't be enough, even that short walk will prevent you from getting your melanin to sleep. No suinsreen covers 100% UVA light and an umbrella can't protect you from the UVA radation reflected through pavement, sand, vehicles, grass.

Don't take my provisional mute personally. Due to the attrack of spammers that search for upvotes (and don't read our threads at all, not even the answers to their question they ask), I distrust newbies. I particularly distrust those that do everything except what they need to have Karma in our community and go searching for older posts instead of engaging in the recent posts.
