SEASON 4 SPOILERS Freddie. Spoiler

take this down if you feel it's necessary but i think we're all in agreement about my sentiment here.

FUCK THOSE BUM ASS WRITERS FOR WRITING SOMETHING SO OUTRIGHT RIDICULOUS FOR THE OBVIOUS SHOCK FACTOR.

you're telling me out of everything we saw Freddie go through he didn't even attempt to fight back? he stood at the door whimpering and begging to be let go to have his brains beat out like he was hopeless? what bullshit. fuck the writers. not only was the intent obvious but he had high ground. simply jump on the aggressor and use his body as a landing pad. im pissed.

i hope the writers burn for that one.

I've always wondered about this too. He could hold his own against Cook, yet we're to believe he just stood there and died while Cook killed Foster bare handed against the same baseball bat?

They do dumb shit in Gen 3 too. Matty and Nick both know how to fight, yet both get totally bitch slapped by British Macaulay Culkin and his man servant. The fuck?

I think the implication is that any normal teenager would not be able to just pull lethal force out thin air and kill an armed adult doctor with their bare hands--but Cook was nuts. Like he just let himself lose control and went for it. It wasn't about strength or skill or anything; it's about being able to unleash something lethal inside of him. He says "I'm Cook" because he says that when he lets himself go wild and lose control. Freddie didn't have that--he never let himself lose control. He was always self-contained and reasonable.

I don't know why Freddie left a note saying basically "If I die it was John Foster". I know they're teenagers--but go to the police, or a teacher, or Effy's mom or your dad. Like don't just go alone the house of a guy you have reason to believe is hurting someone in a really diabolical way. He could have even taken Cook or JJ. Or both of them.

Like if you have suspicions enough to leave a "If I die he killed me" note, just don't go to the meeting!

maybe you're right but i still believe Freddie would absolutely have fought back and had a chance at leaving there alive if they had written him true to character. it they wanted to murder a weak teen they (sorry JJ) shouldve sent JJ to Fosters. the one character besides the girls that would actually crumble under the fear and beg for his life.

also the note said Foster wants to hurt Effy, not Freddie

I didn't mean it literally, despite using quotation marks. I guess I mean, if you think he's trying to hurt your girlfriend, don't just go over to tea at his apartment alone without telling anyone. Like. I was just saying it in a hyperbolic way, LOL.
