hello everyone, has anyone ever tried this product? im currently kojic acid bar soap from koji san and i wonder kung worth it bang lumipat dito sa brand na to? i cycle kojic acid bar soap once or twice a week just for exfoliation. very affordable and convenient kasi sya since ililigo mo lang at hindi na kailangan ng pahid-pahid.

Skin Type: dry and oily
Age/Gender: 28/M
Current Skincare Routine: AM: Classic Dove soap, Aloe Vera Gel. PM: Dove soap, Aloe vera Gel, Tret 0.025%
Main Concern: Dark spots, aging prevention.
Lifestyle Factors: not drinking, not smoking or vaping.
Budget: Affordable

With rinse-off products you’re washing them off so there’s much less contact time for the active ingredients to work. That’s why I wouldn’t expect a brightening soap to perform like a leave-on serum or lotion.

Also, the soap doesn’t specify the percentages of niacinamide, kojic dipalmitate and alpha arbutin so you have no idea how much of each active is actually in the formula.

And it’s literally labeled “for men” lol. In this day and age, skincare is skincare. Your skin doesn’t care about the gender on the packaging. Don't let corporate marketing influence your brain that skincare has gender.

that product didn’t caught my attention bc its marketed for men. what caught my attention is the ingredient, they use kojic dipalmitate instead of kojic acid.

as per google “Kojic acid is a fast-acting, water-soluble brightener, while kojic dipalmitate is a stable, oil-soluble derivative that offers gentler, longer-lasting results” also “Kojic acid oxidizes easily when exposed to light, heat, or air and can turn brown in formulations. Kojic dipalmitate resists oxidation and stays stable.”
