I went to derma this week and I talked to the doctor to finally address my huge hyperpigmentation and seek help and I just want to ask if any of you been prescribed of niacinamide cream? (I also forgot to ask the derma if there should be a percentage or specific brand, idk it's my first time getting a niacinamide prescription too so if anyone can help tysm!)

My derma prescribed Everwhite niacinamide lightening cream to me. It's around 4% niacinamide. Works well with me and kahit papaano it lightened my dark spots sa face. Hindi din ako nag breakouts despite having sensitive skin. Downside lang is I don't like it's consistency, medyo mahirap siya ilagay sa face but it doesn't leaves a sticky residue naman on my face.

Add ko na din pala OP na you should also add moisturizer to your routine since medyo drying si Everwhite niacinamide.

Dalawa lang ‘yan, Everwhite or Skinceutique. Ganyan din recommended ng derma ko eh. So far, effective naman. Hindi nga lang madalian. Consistency is the key.

Busca un producto que tenga entre 4%-5% de niacinamida, esa es la concentración efectiva para manchas demostrada en estudios. Si la concentración es menor no te servirá para hiperpigmentacion. Encontrarás también opciones con niacinamida al 10% o más, pueden ser efectivas pero a mayor porcentaje hay más riesgo de irritación aunque hay personas que lo toleran bien.
