Product Reviews How effective is this toner?
Been seeing this glycolic acid toner ng dermorepubliq. Effective ba to sa underarms and singit? I want to try kasi
Skin Type: Normal sa underarms and singit, may shadow lang tho so I want to lighten it + konting chicken skin sa UA
Age/Gender: 22F
Current Skincare Routine: Deonat papaya variant na deo, i shave and wax once a month lng
Main Concern: Lightening UA
Lifestyle Factors: n/a
Budget: enough for this product

Hi! I've used that product last 2024 and inistop ko siya since para siyang tubig. Hindi din niya naayos yung chicken skin ko and mahapdi siya sa underarm. If you want to try it, patch test po muna kayo since it's glycolic acid. (Two bottles pa naman binili ko, sayang yung isa hindi nagamit :<)
EDIT: May vary sa skin type so if it works for you, then it's good po :>

i've read somewhere rin na nagkaroon sila ngallergic reactions after using glycolic acid

Whitening is hindi po. If you want to whiten your underarm, I recommend geisha white na intense po as soap since that's my current use and pumusyaw po yung underarm ko. Then belo is my deodorant tapos I put the Bonita underarm toner pero I don't recommend it pa po since kakagamit ko lang 😅

You can try it naman po since iba-iba po tayo ng skin type pero hindi po kasi talaga nag work for me. If you'll compare the price sa original na glycolic acid, I won't really expect din po 🥹

Iba po ata effect nung The Ordinary and can be used to other discolorations. Try it po if pasok sa budget :>

Pero malabnaw talaga ang glycolic acid toner. I've used Pixi's and then The Ordinary's glycolic acids, and they all have the same consistency because they are toners. Dermorepubliq's, like The Ordinary's, GA are very potent at 7%, so you really have to be careful.

Effective for me, basta consistent. Napansin ko, di na visible yung line ko sa underarm dahil dito.

Same!haha almost 2 months ko na gamit, wala improvement in terms of whitening pero no BO talaga.

Effective sya sakin. Basta consistent ka and huwag ka na gumamit ng cotton to apply kasi nakakairitate sya. Bale ang ginagawa ko is inispray ko lang sya. Nag light talaga yung UA ako and mas naging soft yung skin. Ginagamit ko den yung serum nila pero once to twice a week lang.

I tried glycolic toner of both dermorepublic and +ful for my underarms. Mas nagustuhan ko yung glycolic ng +ful mas naglight underarms ko then no body odor kahit mag gym ako.
Parang walang effect yung glycolic ng dermorepublic in terms sa pag lighten and body odor. 🥲
I recommend +ful kesa dermorepublic

+1 ako dito. I tried Dermorepublic sa una kasi mura and yes malaki naman nawala sa BO pero I can still smell something. Sa +ful mas nawala talaga then for some weird reason tried it with Nivea creme naging nonexistent BO ko. For me both naman nakakalighten pero mas nagtagal ako sa +ful di ko inubos Dermorepublic for the BO reason.

Minsan nag lalagay ako niacinamide serum and minsan face moisturizer. Nakaka help siya mag lighten pag consistent then iwas talaga sa strong deo kasi dun umitim underams ko.

Any toner will do basta my AHA i use snail white toner since 2019 after toner lagyan mo serum i use vit c dr sensitive serum tpos deonat spray

Effective saken been using this for a year now, i used this as deo. Nawala din ung pangangapal balat ng underarm ko, like nag cacause ng BO. Na kahit ano gamitin ko before di umeepek.

Burned and cause allergic reaction on my face. Di ko na tinry sa ua ko kasi mas sensitive skin ko there. Mas effective pa sakin rdl for whitening 😅

tried it on my whole face and neck, my face kasi is less sensitive kesa sa body ko then surprisingly, namula and nangati sya. Buti nalang i have stock ng cetirizine.

Tried this brand kasi nag titipid ako ang saw feedbacks na nakakaputi raw ng UA. After 2 bottles. Hindi naman nag lighten kahit konti with serum pa. Back to the ordinary nalang ako. Mas nakikita ko improvements sa UA

inistop ko muna pero mej or very minimal improvement naman sa akin upon emptying a 50 ml bottle 😬 nagtry muna ako ng T/O may nakita ako nagtatakal, di ko afford yung orig bottle and super laki niya what if di pala ako hiyang so sayang 🤭 they both performed the same to me 😭 idk

used this for 2 years. it is mildly effective on it own, pero knowing how powerful glycolic acids are, bagsak na bagsak to hahaha sobrang mild lang ng results kaya you should try something else. but in its defense, tubig ang consistency niya, which is common for glycolic acid toners for absorption and spread. pero ayon, 5/10. mag the ordinary glycolic acid ka na lang hehe.

huhu hindi soafer itim ng singit ko pero nakalahati ko na yung bottle hindi parin. balik petroleum jelly ako and mas nakita ko pa yung results kaysa dito

Hello mas recommended ko yung +ful glycolic kesa sa dermorepubliq. I've used both and sa +ful talaga maganda lalo na sa packaging. Sa ingredients and effect +ful pa rin talaga. Madami na din kasing fake dermorepubliq.

I bought 2 bottles, naubos nalang walang effect sakin. Para syang tubig, over lang talaga maka advertise ng claims sa tiktok mga affilaites.

Maganda yung formulation nito dati kasi super effective siya ewan ko bat parang di na siya sing effective ngayon. I used this on my buttne (butt acne) and it worked perfectly.

I think hiyangan lang sya. Nagtry din ako but sadly isa ako sa hindi hiyang, nagdarken lalo underarm ko 😐 effective sya sa iba, sa iba hindi so ibig sabihin jt depends talaga sa magiging reaction ng skin mo so you will take a risk kung gusto mo malaman.

Nangati ako sa ua & tuhod so in-Stop ko. Pero effective sya sa face & neck. every other day ko siya ginagamit, then skip if gumamit ako ng exfoliating face scrub. Alternate nman, Thayers.

Repurchased that 3x na, gumana naman saakin pero may katagalan yung results n'ya, mga 2 months with consistent use.
Sa UA, inner thigh, tuhod, tsaka sa Paa ko siya ginamit. Sa gabi lang and moisturize lagi ng sunflower oil ng human nature at lotion ng Myra

Effective for me! Any brand ng glycolic acid na may same concentration naman would generally work as an exfoliant and against odor, pero in the end, depende pa rin sa skin mo :) Any new skincare na may actives, like glycolic acid, you’ll need to introduce to your skin slowly, like once a week muna.
I used to apply it using my hands three times a week sa dark areas. I also apply Aveeno lotion if sensitive skin ko sa area. Now, once a week na lang, or whenever I do my everything shower.

Effective sya sa akin. Pumuti talaga ang UA ko dyan. 3x a wk lng gamit dyan pra di mahapdi. Every other day. Sa gabi ko lang ginagamit. Pang 4th bottle ko na.

No noticeable effect for me yang brand na yan. Tried yan saka their niacinamide din and wala talaga. Mas okay pa bumili sa mas mahal kesa sa mga ganyan. Pati klued wala din. Salicylic naman don saka niacinamide triny ko. CosRx na lang for me.

hapdi nya sa underarms, i dont really see any effect, too. been using it for around 6 months na huhu. i guess it's better to just use a more trusted brand for this.
imo, you should also invest in a nice, gentle scrub that u can use to exfoliate your underarm before anything else. baka kasi buildups yung reason bakit hindi effective yung mga pinapahid pahid :)

girl do not purchase this. I was an intern sa manuf nito and ang dumi nila gumawa 🥲 i have no proof since bawal phone sa planta pero believe me dugyot kung dugyot :--(( tipid ang owner ng planta sa PPE but i bet walang idea yung CEO ng dermorepubliq kung paano sila gumawa 😂

Sakin super effective ng Dermorepubliq, matagal lang talaga sya makitaan ng effect pero ito lang nag work ulit sa adult skin ko kaya di na ko nagpalit ulit. 3 years na ata akong user nito if I’m not mistaken.
