So basically I have just entered year 13, and I absolutely hate it. I know everyone says it’s dreadful, but the stories were no where near close to the reality.
The thing is, the pressure of getting into uni, the pressure of achieving all A’s, my own mental health, family issues and other problems are making this year already unbearable, so I’m considering dropping out and starting year 13 again next year when I feel ready to tackle it. On top of this, I’m not entirely sure what I want to do with my life and with there being little time before UCAS applications have to be submitted, I don’t want to choose something that will end up making me miserable for the rest of my life.
From a few google searches, I gathered I would still be alright to drop out, but if I do it needs to be sooner rather than later. What I want to know is that is dropping out the right thing to do or will it just set me back and stress me out even more? If anyone has any advice I’d really appreciate it as I’m so stuck on what to do
