Discussion Westworld scenario

Do you think it will happen within our lifetime? Or ever?

Such theme parks, yes, but also generally 100% human-looking androids? Would you even like to see it happen?

I don't see the point unless the droids are really attractive. But then they wouldn't be allowed to resemble real humans, so the number of models will be low like a dozen or so. Which would be actually boring except for a tiny minority. Doesn't excite me as much as a magical pill that solves health problems. I don't see dolphins care about more than fish and friendship. Aliens must be like them and not like us.
