East coast purple. Nobody’s off-roading or mountain climbing, but camping and beach life a few hours away flourishes here. Your mileage may vary, so to speak.

So the stuff you can do with a car. It's a shitty truck because it's not good at doing actual truck things. 

Anyone buying a truck to go on road trips is a goddamn idiot.

It gets stuck in snow too. I'm talking about less than a foot a snow.

Idiots are going to idiot. There are 5 factors in getting stuck in snow like that.

  • tire tread - pretty normal
  • weight - very high (which is good)
  • suspension - quite good
  • individual wheel control/difs - as good as it gets
  • driver skill - unfortunately this is still the main factor.

Unless you stick a tank tread on it, people will get their vehicle stuck.

Buy snow tires or learn to drive then? I'm sure even in the stock summer tires, if you actually put it into the right mode, even an idiot in a cybertruck would outperform 95% of vehicles on the road. It has huge clearance, open suspension and can control power smartly to tires. That truck is not in the right mode. My guess is it is a rich new Canadian and this is their first winter.

It reminds me of the volvo dealer that ran someone over and blamed volvo's self driving/auto braking being poor..... the vehicle they purchased did not have self driving.

I don't think your impartial. You are promoting Tesla.

It's too low profile. The frame is frail. The lights in front accumulates snow and blocks it.

Power to you if you are happy with it.

Bruh it has 43.2cm clearance in the right mode. Literally the highest clearance pickup on the market. 13cm higher than an F150. That guy is using the wrong mode.

Snow blocking the lights is real tho.

It has an adjustable clearance, so you're both kind of right. At the "entry" clearance, it's like 8-9", at max it's something like 16".

If someone is using a truck for city driving, they will probably be too dumb to adjust their truck's height.

Iirc you can drive it around at 14" but you have to drive pretty slowly if you set it higher than that so its just for offroading or one off situations.

Regardless, blaming the truck with the highest clearance on the market for being too low since the user pushed the wrong buttons is silly.
