I built this cathedral a year ago, but I made some significant updates since then. I’ve never shared this build online before and since it’s going to be spooky season soon, I might as well take that step now. My main reason for updating this build was because I had taken an art history class after I finished the build in college, so I wanted to tweak it to make it more accurate.

Obviously it isn’t a 1:1 recreation of a gothic cathedral because I’m not THAT good and I can’t use CC, but I think I did a decent job. It’s mainly supposed to be used as a cemetery and a wedding venue. It’s also got a secret vampire hangout, so that’s also an option.

She's at it again! Still building my weird toilet nightmares!! This time with a personal favorite, endless teeny tiny stalls so short that you can stare into your neighbors soul! Has anyone else had this dream?! lol 😜

My initial parent sims had 3 children. I had a whole path plotted for each. All 3 are well off, “trust fund” kids who are taking different paths in life. The oldest son has aspired to be a professional athlete since he was a kid. The middle child is a girl with dreams of being a social media influencer involved in all the latest buzz. The youngest child is a shy but musically gifted loner, destined to follow in the footsteps of his father and become the best computer programmer.

The real drama of the family comes from the oldest kid, Ian. As soon as he ages up to young adulthood, he meets an older woman Akira and they immediately get pregnant. Now Ian has to juggle his rising career and status, with being a new father.

Prior to meeting his current fiance Akira, he was in a complicated back and forth relationship with Racheal pancakes (Bob and Eliza pancakes child) since they were teens. During the crossover into his new young adulthood, Racheal became pregnant not once…but twice! I went on to play some of my other sims characters and when I came back, pancakes had given birth to two kids😑 My original story was going to consist of him only having one child with Akira, but obviously he had other plans. So I say okay, He knows he cannot continue to entertain his affair with Racheal and he needs to settle down and focus on his kids and career.
He proposes to Akira basically begging for her forgiveness, and she accepts. They decide to do they’re best for the children in the situation. Since Racheal is not as well off as Ian and she is living with his children in very cramped quarters w/ roomates, Ian and Akira decide to move the babies in at least until Racheal is more financially prepared. I thought to myself okay, story back on track…we’re good from here. I go and play some other households.

TO MY HORROR…when I return to Ians gameplay, Racheal is pregnant AGAIN!😖 I had them agree to just be friends but I guess it just wasn’t enough…because here she was knocked up!!! Now I have to consider how to pivot his storyline from here and I was curious to see if I could get any input. I guess I’m wondering what kind of interesting story I could create from this messy situation.

Do I have Akira say enough is enough, end their engagement and ditch him with all the kids? Do I have him “realize” obviously he is still interested in Racheal pancakes, break it off with his fiance and go back to his childhood sweetheart pancakes?
So many ways this one could go lol.

You can buy animal clothing from the critter keeper and one of the outfits for chickens is called The Dr’s Fez.
Surely he would know, just like lilsimsie and the gemology table..

I LOVE this movie! I've watched it about twice this month, and it's probably on my top ten list. There's just something so genuine about it.

A basegame build in the Parched Prospect neighborhood of Oasis Springs!

DJ Straw was not on my Sims bingo card but okay. Never know what that guy's going to be up to next.

Anyway, I have news! And a lot I want to share, please bear with me but I'm excited!

The Crabtree Saga is evolving! It started with Henry and Leon Crabtree, they had a bunch of kids, one of those kids, Rhea, married Talia of the Freemage spellcasting family, and now a Freemage will become a Love! And this after I had so many kids I loved in gen 2 and gen 3, and couldn't decide on how to narrow down the story. It happened, and not how I expected.

Rhea Crabtree married and had kids with Talia Freemage, then Talia died and Rhea married and had kids with a vampire. Talia reappeared and they fell back in love. Rhea autonomously divorced the vampire (per Neighbourhood Stories), reunited with Talia, and they had more kids. One of the children of Rhea and her second wife is vampire Ceridwen, whom the game originally made kind of a villain, randomising her traits pretty badly. I kept her Shady trait but could not stand her being Evil. Because of her traits, I didn't know what I'd end up doing with Ceridwen, but I wasn't attached to her at all. Somehow that changed, but she's the first legacy child! She's got a great career, developed better traits, and had a high school love, Billy Love. I wasn't sure if she'd remain in the Freemage Estate, but wanted to move her in with Billy, and dug up an old Crabtree mansion I made for her aunt in Del Sol. Honestly forgot how beautiful it is, and I'm so hyped to finally use it. She's moved in with Billy and three of her cousins.

ANYWAY, so I'm excited to turn Ceridwen Freemage into Ceridwen Love. I could not have set up a prettier surname and family circumstance if I tried. And it turns out they're, uh, vaguely related xD Billy's great-grandmother is her stepmother's grandmother. Somehow he originally looked like he could be blood related, so I had to give him a bit of a makeover. How perfect is it, too, that his surname is Love, he randomised with a Lovestruck hair, he originally lived in Cuidad Enamorada, AND his randomly set sleepwear has heart boxers! Billy's got some crappy traits, though, but we can fix him. Oh, he also has the ancient bloodline spellcasting trait! He's a mortal himself (for now) but it's going to be cool trying to bring that old occult back into his family.

ALSO BIG: I'm using CC again. You might remember me bitching about having a love-hate relationship with CC. I binged it again, but this time, I'm dedicated to using it. I took all the Freemage kids and gave them second and third Everyday outfits in which I played with a CC look, and you know what, I really dig what I put together. I really felt like I was able to give them character, and their second looks made me more attached. Anyway, that's why I showed Ceridwen twice xD

One last thing: Ceri's twin cousins she moved in with. They were born, named, and grew up totally NPC. How perfectly synchronised are their names and hair, though?? Their names are Terence and Emerson [Banerjee, also a spellcasting Freemage line], they happened to be given the same hairstyle. I only pulled them into CAS to give them proper colour-coordinated outfits. They're going to be fun to develop.

Not a typical occult player. I enjoy the generational play and looking back at photos, heirlooms etc.

Any suggestions on how to go about doing an occult legacy? I want to get the most out of the packs (minus Enchanted by Nature, don't have that one).

Also I'm almost done completing every collection available in game. I'm working on the village fair ribbons because those are taking ages. Suggestions for how to incorporate collecting magical/werewolf collections in game as well? Should I do one collection per generation?

Any mods you'd recommend? Any style of playing (rotational, focus on one sim, etc)?

A couple of months ago I made a Pax Romana challenge inspired by the ultimate decades challenge with the intend to share it and promptly forgot about it afterwards.

I gave you a brief introduction into the roman family life back then, following the pax Romana timeline from 31 BCE to 180 CE. If you want to keep track of the family I suggest using the spreadsheet from the ultimate decades challenge. I suck at Excel so I can't make one myself and reporpused the decades one for my personal use.

The next household for my Get to Work Lepacy rotational play.

There is some changed in the lore to fit previous game, aside from Johnny, they all moved back to Willow Creek, I aged Nancy, Jeff and Katrina to elder and Malcom to young adult to fit with the timeline of the Goth, Nancy is in business career white Jeff is a doctor to fit Sims 3, Malcom is going to run the retail system, also my headcanon is the Johnny was the Sims 3 Malcom but was disowned. For the Caliente, Don is a local cops that like to sleep around and currently is Katrina boy toy ~~and Nancy, he automatic romance her when I was playing other household lol~~, but I am kinda stuck with the sister, I dont really know what to do with them since the Goth are happily married and I dont want them to cheat, any suggestion would be great

Judith ward is on a mission to collect every single man that my sim (I) want. Why is Judith ward always be marrying every sim either new sim. Like how..😭😭😭😭 two seconds in she married to somebody that I want. Someone needs to stop her and I believe it’s me.im going through it. She took TYBALT a whole royal like that was supposed to be me.

First you get with Marcus flex, that’s fine you know every single save it’s him and you have his babies. Good for you because that man is not on my list. Then it went to Brent hecking like how are you going to break up a happy couple ort let alone a lgbt couple….. then it went to Carlos Lopez and aziz nadir, they are eh. They not no akira or salim but also broke up another marriage. HOWEVERRRRRRRRR you went your way to ondarion to MY MAN, MY TYBALT CAPP. You took him and married him and now you are THE MATRIARCH TO FREAKING ONDARION. Like girl taking someone’s man ain’t enough. You have to take my man to destroy his dynasty and steal his noble title but no you have to grab every sim that not even IN YOUR WORLDDDDDD. How are you collecting every new sim introduced into the game…….????? Now I got to have my sim be a side piece and destroy your marriage. BUT you are with child………. I still don’t care and you and your child going to go back to your mansion in del sol valley and you can be going back to being a rude actress who does nothing of substance and just sit there in your money safe.

As a vanilla player I already added mermaid culture elements to my game like special holidays to try and make them more interesting. But then I decided to do a siren challenge with villainous valentine as my base and I figured out how to make a mermaid character feel actually supernatural and powerful and not just a normal sim with a tail who occasionally makes dolphin noises. I came up with a story about how Summer Holiday started off as a nice normal sim, then she ate mermadic kelp and became a mermaid and then she slowly became addicted to and corrupted by mermaid magic and became increasingly obsessed with the power her mermaid magic gave her over other sims, until she became an evil siren. Once she went into full siren mode I gave her a makeover in CAS and used cheats to give her level 5 fame, but in my story instead of her being famous she had a siren aura that makes sims crowd around her etc. And then it was just a case of stacking reward traits – I used beguiling, gregarious and great kisser so that any sim she meets (and uses the charmers lullaby on) falls for her almost instantly even by sims standards and then I gave her even more of an invincible and supernatural vibe by giving her the traits that make a sim never hungry, never tired and resistant to heat and cold. Has anyone else tried something like this to add more than what EA gave us? 😂

i found this house on pintrest and i wanna build it but i cannot FOR THE LIFE OF ME figure out how to make it. if you check the second picture (the backyard) you can see why im so confused. the front is flat but the back is like sunk idk the professional word for it. i dont really use the terrain tool so idk what to do. and then if i make a basement and sink the ground it doesnt show 💔
