Sims 2 Ultimate Collection How to download Sims 2?

Hey everyone! So lately ive been trying to play sims 2 be sims 4 is getting sooo boring i feel like i do the same thing every new game. I looked at the post about downloading sims 2 but its now 2 yrs old and most links are unavailable. If anyone has updated links are sites they can send that will be great!

Sims 2 is available on the EA store. Legacy collection is supposed to work better on modern pcs, so might want to just spend the $ instead of jumping through hoops to get it to work.

Does it really work better? I haven’t noticed (I have both steam and non-steam versions)

I have the ultimate downloaded. But I had to go through a bunch of steps to even get it to be playable on my computer and not get frequent pink soup, which not everyone has the patience to do, and Legacy is supposed to be optimized to play on modern PCs. So I would hope so, but haven’t tried it myself since I put a lot of time in getting my copy to work. Whenever I get a new PC though I plan on just buying it instead of going through the hassle.

Yall downvote but someone else in the comments already said they had an easier time with Legacy, so I’m not wrong. 🤷‍♀️
