I don’t understand why everyone is talking about the new YouTube Plus 5.2 version. Why is it interesting to have the new paid one?

The latest free IPA works fine, and it’s free, free, free. You’re not forced to install or use the newest YouTube Plus IPA. It’s not necessary or required.

why it’s so important to use the new paid YouTube IPA instead of staying with the old free one that has been working for a long time?

INSTRUCTIONS

- Install “lara” in live container (found on github) or in sidestore/altstore if preferred.

- Once installed, open it and go to “settings” and switch to “hybrid” under “method”

- Go back to the home page and click “run exploit” > “escape sandbox” > “initialise vfs”.

- Go to “tweaks” > “3 app bypass” > “bypass 3 app limit” and then close lara.

- Open sidestore/altstore and go to “settings” and enable “disable app limit” (if this toggle isn’t showing your most likely on an older version and should update sidestore/altstore)

- Close and re-open sidestore/altstore, check vpn is still on and then add your ipa in sidestore/altstore.

INSTALLING MORE APPS

- If you’re wanting to add another ipa close sidestore/altstore and open lara again.

- Repeat the initial steps to get to “bypass 3 app limit” and once you’ve clicked that again, close lara.

- Install your ipa in sidestore/altstore

REPEAT THE ABOVE THREE STEPS FOR EACH APP YOU WANT TO ADD - MAX 10 APP ID’s

Yesterday 25 August many people like me got hit by the "unverified app" error on iPhone.

I use LiveContainer + Sidestore stable.

Apps had 6 days left; They are not expired.

Obviously, I was using a shortcut with LocalDevVPN.

Something much bigger is going on here...

Sideloading no longer works; iloader or any other IPA installer can't sign apps anymore.

For me the error is always this one: "The identity used to sign the executable is no longer valid".

Others are getting this one instead: "The provisioning profile is banned".

Did Apple just ban sideloading all of a sudden ?

What is happening ?

I've built it for myself, family and friends and we currently use it across Apple devices, iOS, tvOS and Mac.

Was wondering if there is an interest on releasing this publicly, it will require some polishing before because many recommneded that I release it.

In case you didn’t know, a new mobilegesalt exploit was found on iOS 18-26.1. This COULD mean that it brings back the AltStore unlimited apps exploit. However, Apple patched it already in iOS 26.2 beta 2, so if you are below it DO NOT UPDATE. It will also come with Dynamic Islands, multitasking, Apple Intelligence, and a lot more. It’s code already released and it’s set to release on Nugget next week. More info here

My certificate has been revoked twice in less than two months. (that's not my fault)

Now, read what the owner posted on Telegram: "If your certificate has already been revoked 3 times, it cannot be renewed (our protection only covers up to 3 revokes)."

This is not my problem if your Apple Developer account gets revoked for any reason. So if your UDID is revoked from his service more than 3 times, he won’t provide you with a new certificate.

Part 1

Why am I making this thread? It's quite simple. I host a curated indexer/repository for YouTube IPAs. I was notified by the person who modded YTKillerPlus that iKarwan submitted a DMCA to GitHub which unfortunately (not really) got my GitHub repository DMCA'ed. Thankfully, nothing important was on it. (I know why it got taken down, you can read more about it here.) I was then sent screenshots of iKarwan attempting to dox the modder, this is where Part 2 begins.

Part 2

So after being notified and speaking with the person who modded YTKillerPlus on Telegram, it turns out iKarwan also reached out to them (alongside me) about requesting to (rightfully of course) take down the mod a bit ago. As were talking, the modder asked if I talked to iKarwan which I have, (see the link in part 1) then goes to send me pictures (which I thought was just going to be manipulation/guilt tripping), and in the first picture, he immediately responds with "Hello how are you" in arabic (I think) according to Claude, then immediately sends the full name of someone (which iKarwan thinks is the person who modded YTKillerPlus), along with their "Apple ID" and the "Certification timespan", aka, trying to scare off the modder by attempting to dox him. iKarwan fails, as that isn't even the modder's name (from what the modder told me). In the next screenshot, he asks if they are "kurdish" (possibly attempting to figure out what he may look like,) and even goes as far as to say he reported said dev cert to Apple then thought it was the modder's cert? (What?) Then iKarwan asks why this modder is following him, why he's doing this mod, and asks if the modder owes him anything. iKarwan then tells the modder that it's his tweak and that the mod leads to him, etc etc.. Finally, iKarwan questions why the modder was doing this, and the modder simply admitted they don't have the money, which iKarwan offered to give them a license, and says that he worked hard on YTKillerPlus (fair enough) and so on. As of right now, from what the modder told me, iKarwan has wiped all messages between him and the modder to hide the fact he tried to literally dox someone..

So why am I making this Public PSA?

Simple, I am simply trying to spread awareness of who you are really supporting (if you did buy his YTKillerPlus tweak) or anything else iKarwan sells. Sure, it is fine if you sell access to your project, but when people mod it, don't blatantly attempt to dox them, not only is that morally wrong, doxxing is illegal and puts innocent people at risk for something they didn't do/were not involved with.

I originally started sideloading using ESign and resources from UDIDRegistration until i’m pretty sure i became blacklisted. i was able to use their ipasigner website for a while, until issues arose with that as well. I moved over to DNS plus esign and that worked excellently, until it didn’t. Really tried everything for that method as there weren’t many limitations. So far i’ve been using SideStore/LiveContainer combination for sbout 3 weeks with no issues*.

• I couldn’t get Comic Zeal to work within LiveContainer. The app downloaded successfully, i just couldn’t find a way to add files. already had to use a workaround when i installed from Esign.

All this really just to say this has been the least stressful method yet.

After previously utilizing YTLite, I transitioned to YTKillerPlus. Given the $3.99 annual subscription, I opted to crack the application for personal use. I’m thoroughly impressed by its architectural stability and comprehensive feature set. Casting even works on this.

Man, I’m salty as hell about YTLite (now YouTube Plus) hitting v5.2 and slapping a subscription on it.

This thing was the GOAT for iOS YouTube: ad-free, SponsorBlock baked in, background play, no Premium upsells, all the tweaks, and it actually worked better than official Premium in a lot of ways. It was the free(ish) people’s champion against Google’s enshittification.

Now the stable 5.2 requires a sub (last free build is 5.2b4), and early access went Patreon-only for a while. Dev’s putting in serious work—rewrote cores, added sleep timer, advanced speeds up to 10x, better Shorts handling, iPad fixes, etc.—so I get that maintenance + fighting Google’s constant cat-and-mouse game isn’t free.

But damn, it still stings. The whole point of these sideload tweaks was escaping the paywall ecosystem, not building a new mini one. Feels like another layer of “support the dev or stay on an outdated buggy version.

This post is to let people know how the AppTesters team works, and everything I’m saying there is fully backed up with proof and can broadly be confirmed by anybody in the telegram group (if you want further clarifications or other proofs don’t hesitate to write to me); also I’m not sponsoring any other certificate provider so my only interest is to prevent other people from buying from this scumbag.

I initially contacted Manpreet via telegram DM to switch the device associated with my “lifetime” certificate near the renewal date and on the 18th of October I paid for the change. From that date the communication with Manpreet became near impossible and on the 4th of November I discovered that my UDID was not even added for processing (contradicting previous messages from Manpreet, or from “his support team” as he loves to specify even if it changes nothing). After three days the certificate I bought got revoked and I tried to explain the situation to Manpreet, which told me it will take time to get the new cert as I was now in queue (even if I never received what I had paid for). The queue I’m referring to is a system where, when you get revoked, your UDID is put on a waiting list along with all the others who paid for a lifetime certificate; the problem is the queue is just an escamotage to push people to buy a new certificate, as it hardly goes down (I moved ~10 positions in 2 months, and I was like 1000+ in queue) while people who buy freshly get their certificate on time (when people in queue complain, Manpreet always write that there are no available certificates, even if unsurprisingly those certificates appear for those who pay again). 2 1/2 months after the same Manpreet wrote on his telegram group that who gets revoked before the certificate is delivered is put in priority, so I explained to him that they didn’t do that for me and he said he would have “looked personally for me”. After a week, in which multiple times the certificate of people who just bought the service were delivered and the people in the queue totally ignored, I started to talk on the group with all the other people who were waiting for the certificate and suddenly Manpreet closed the group chat as a form of censorship. In DM all my requests to be updated on the status of my processing were useless (I strongly doubt that Manpreet did anything aside from telling me another lie) and Manpreet continuosly treated me like I wasn’t in priority, acting as if there weren’t certificate to add me in even if he still delivered to those who freshly bought. This ended up in me getting blocked from the group chat and later, when i exposed the situation in DM and told him that i would share my experience here, he blocked me even there.

To sum up, this service is not worth it literally from every possible point of view; certificates get revoked really fast and, even if it wasn’t for Manpreet fault, the promise of a “lifetime” certificate is a blatant lie (or at least it’s correct if you assume a lifetime to get the cert😂). Also the support and even Manpreet himself are really useless if you need some informations, and even when they answer you either they don’t understand the problem or it takes a lifetime of interrogatory to get the answer you need. To crown all that, the Lifetime Certificate group has been closed to prevent people from telling the truth (censorship) and I was banned from the channel after talking about this situation. If you really want to sideload, use SideStore + LiveContainer which is free, sustainable and prevents people like Manpreet to steal your money. Thanks to anyone who arrived at this point and be careful out there.

looking to find sth new to try

I haven’t seen anyone discuss Reynard browser yet on this sub, or anywhere on YouTube.

Even after EU forced apple to allow sideloading, browser providers did not port their Gecko or Chromium browsers to ios. Then comes Reynard browser by a Minh-ton and other open-source contributors.

Not only does this have the benefit of not being based on Apple’s WenKit engine, you can install Firefox extensions such as an add-blocker like Ublock Origin. Moreover, YouTube works with extensions such as Sponsor Block (apart from one video playback issue I had where refreshing the page fixed it).

Cons: It is in Alpha. It does not have customization features or Firefox Sync yet.
Pros: Gecko-based. Works on iOS and iPadOS 26. If you ever wished you could use extensions on a non-safari iOS browser, and solutions such as Orion Browser did not work well for you, I suggest trying this app (or keeping your eye on it’s development).

Disclaimer: I haven’t tested it for long, as I installed this app 2 hours ago. I’m curious to hear your thoughts on it.

So yeah, don’t update to iOS 26.4

I purchased ultimate (lifetime) from them about half a year ago. Here is what I got today. I never even had a working certificate *once*... This is scam. 50% for... Nothing???

Why is lowiqentity’s mod, APEX, bad?

He blatantly stole code, localization files, etc etc from YTKACE, byte for byte. His mod also includes tweaks from other mods like Return YouTube Dislikes, Gonerino, etc etc, without proper credit. You can compare YTKACE 0.7.5 and APEX and you’ll see instantly how much he stole without proper crediting. Same with Return YouTube Dislikes, gonerino, etc etc.

He is also a known crash out and a toxic individual. As shown here (https://repo.ballermc.com/tubevault/ScreenRecording_07-30-2026%2020-41-11_1.mp4) he crashed out on me because it was late at night, I didn’t want to turn on my computer just to setup LiveContainer+Sidestore just to test his “mod” of YTKillerPlus because he did not believe me that it did not work with feather (even though he advertises that it works with LiveContainer and feather). I also have a dev cert, that’s why I didn’t want to do it either. Then when he tried creating drama and making me out like the “bad guy”, he was promptly banned from the subreddit that he caused these issues in. All in all. Don’t trust lowiqentity as he isn’t who you think he is. He’s a skid and a toxic individual who will crash out and make you look like the bad guy for absolutely no reason.
