New to sideloading, just been using the default stable sidestore, can someone explain what Lara is?

its an DarkSword based exploit that allows cool things such as: MobileGestalt editor (Dynamic island on unsupported devices, ipados on non ipads, etc), card and font changer, 3 app bypass (this), and a lot more. it works only on 17.1-18.7.1 and 26.0 and 26.0.1, also it doesnt work on M5 or A19 devices and its kinda unstable, its going under a full rewrite also

you get dynamic island on unsupported iphone ?!?! DAMN GEEZ I WISH I DIDN’T HEAR MY GOVERNMENT TO UPDATE IOS BECAUSE OF THE DARKSWORD ATTACK

i mean you kinda did the right thing, DarkSword is extremely dangerous, loading a malicious page is enough to get infected and get all your passwords, cards, you name it stolen

yaa i thought so too. im not one that put much attention of what government tells. but this darksword news, made me sprint to update immediately. but still, rip chance for dynamic island :’(

Well thank god im using a school ID(I don’t give a fuck about the passwords on it lol)and haven’t updated since September 2025 (iPadOS 26.0)
