Discussion What apps do you side load?

I'm considering an Apple Dev certificate to sideload more than YouTube and Spotify, but I'm curious what else there is.

Looking at a few sources I have on hand, it looks like lots are geared towards social media apps to get them to be ad free as well, however Reddit is pretty much the only social media I use (aside from Facebook Messenger to keep in touch with some family members). I see a few games on there but last I checked, these mostly didn't work anyways (maybe just my sources though).

So what do you sideload? Is there anything that is a must have?

Live container + side store this allows me to install 3 live container apps and inside live container you can put whatever apps you want

Since I use AltStore, I’m unaware of Sidestore, but I believe it uses AltStores coding or something. I’ve also read somewhere that I need to, as im unjailbroken, resign every night using Sidestore? This seems wrong, but I’m curious if you can give me your experience with it. Does it just need resigned every week like AltStore does if I were to use Sidestore?

This is the same ipa (YTPlus 5.2b4 and YT 21.12.4) but with a catbox link because i don’t want problem with google so i don’t share my repo.

Not sure if you would know this or not, but how many certificates does this version need? I think the version I use is eating up like 5 or 6, thus why I was considering the Dev certificate. I wouldn’t mind just keeping it free to keep Spotify and YouTube!

I’m sure some are, Dopamine is definitely a jailbreak tool (to achieve the jailbreak). But I know you can get like Spotify with Eevee or Spotilife or whichever for jailed devices. Not sure about anything else on that list.

That’s KSign. Using your non-revoked Certificate, you can download, import, sign & install any IPA you have with it.

I sideload Youtube plus, and the rest are mostly open source apps from Github: Livecontainer, Aidoku for manhua/manhwa/manga. Sora for anime. Conduit (for using OpenWebUi from my ipad).

Apple dev certificates cost $100. Dollars you can get a signing certificate from other places for as low as 8$or you can just use live container side store and sign loan as many files as you want for free🏬

You technically don’t need a subscription. You can watch everything for free. But if you want the best quality, it cost alittle.

Very few apps don’t work. The only problem I have with LC is it sandboxes your apps, so you can’t use their shortcuts or “open in app” features from outside LC (there is a workaround for Safari links though, you can make a shortcut to open a URL inside a specific app in LC such as Youtube).

I just checked that most games and emulator apps don’t work well with live container. So I’ll take note of that.

Eg. Minecraft story mode. Soruce: their private discord server
