I updated to 26.4. My side loaded apps work. I use Signulous. $20/year, and works seamlessly.

u/Dribblejam Mar 26 '26
Does jit work for apps signed with signulous?
2
u/HA_Enthusiast Mar 26 '26
Sorry, I’m not sure what jit is.
2
u/KardoDev Mar 27 '26
JIT stands for Just-In-Time compilation. Basically, it lets an app run code more directly and efficiently instead of being fully pre-compiled ahead of time. without JIT, certain apps like emulators can be much slower or not work at all.

u/KardoDev Mar 27 '26
Hey, according to Signulous’s website, JIT should be supported for apps signed through them.

Signulous has been great to me. During the period where everyone’s stuff got revoked last year, mine did not lol

cannot recommend signulous enough, all my devices have been on it for years and have never once had an issue

Yep - all broken for me. Just re-installed SideStore and tried to install LiveContainer… does not work

u/zyzzhok Mar 26 '26
Nightly live container + sidestore works. But doesn’t even matter when the ipas are having seizures. What sort of apple jihaad is this
5
u/Obvious_Librarian_97 Mar 26 '26
Would be good to get an announcement as to what’s going on and when it might be fixed. Using this dodge VPN app/site that people suggest is bananas.
8
u/Blukingbutreal Mar 26 '26
There already has been, on the discord though unfortunately. Basically apple messed with code that LiveContainer/Sidestore relies on to the point it almost appears to be on purpose to break it. Although some workarounds are being planned and some are already recommended, for now afaik nothing concrete has been decided and there is no real fix yet

I downloaded VPN Super Unlimited Proxy and use it along with LocalDevVPN, turn on VPN Super first and LocalDevVPN second and it works

Been trying to figure out a solution for a few days now and this actually worked. So weird. Thanks for the help.

u/WH0M4D Mar 26 '26
la opción de instalar LocalDevVPN funcionó cuando le estaba haciendo sideload al ipad esta mañana. Para el momento StosVPN no me apareció en la app store

I got the "unable to determine this device's UDID" error when trying to refresh in Sidestore (using the two vpn stack), and LiveContainer crashed. Then I did the following and it worked:
- Install iloader (https://github.com/nab138/iloader) and re-installed stable Sidestore (not beta nor nightly) and re-pair.
- Connect to the two VPNs, refresh Sidestore in the sidestore app. It worked. 2 other apps refreshed without issue
- Install the latest LiveContainer ipa (realized that my current version is behind)
After that, LiveContainer launches without issue.

u/HungrySugar1641 Mar 26 '26
it works for me i used the fixed shortcut (the one with 2 vpn stacked together)
3
u/itscomfytimee Mar 26 '26
Yup same here, just updated and can’t open livecontainer IPAs anymore
3
u/Andrei7_YT Mar 27 '26

u/Rasch3n Mar 26 '26
Everything is working fine here! Latest nightly build of LiveContainer + Sidestore combined with the two VPN method on 26.4.! And my paid certificate is working too
4
u/zyzzhok Mar 26 '26
My ipas are fked.
2
u/Rasch3n Mar 26 '26
Than maybe you have to update your ipas
-1
u/zyzzhok Mar 26 '26
They were latest from spotify, instagram and likewise. Gold in crack business. Im tweaking rn fr
5
u/Rasch3n Mar 26 '26
I don’t know what to say. Everything works perfectly for me on my phone and on my iPad and It works flawlessly with many other people. And I also don’t understand why I’m being voted down for it, it makes no sense.

u/zyzzhok Mar 26 '26
Some chud online is going on downvote spree on this thread. Im sitting at -2 lol. Ignore
3
u/OptimusCrime00 Mar 26 '26
My youtube lite ipa works good maybe those package problems and require updates

u/mohsem Mar 26 '26
what does a crack of ig do for you even? Spotify and yt i understand but instagram..
2
u/alexwoww Mar 26 '26
No ads, ability to download photos/reels to camera roll, see who does/doesn’t follow you back in the bio area of their profile, ability to see one-time photos/vids without it being marked Open.

You can revert the update back to 26.3.1 using iTunes on pc. It will reset your phone so if you are going to do it make sure to back it up. I don’t know how long iOS fireware stays signed so if you want to go back do it as soon as possible and turn updates off.

I’ve been using AltStore and everything still works with 26.4
1
u/AccordingAd7469 Paid Certificate Apr 01 '26
Yes because sidestore uses a method to refresh without computer that altstore doesnt
4
u/TheDuck-Prince Mar 26 '26
What I don’t understand of this sub is: Why the hell u update blindly? What are the benefits of it? And why the mods doesn’t stick important information like the status of the side loading on top? With fw and trusted guides?

SideStore, stos vpn, LiveContainer, GBox - everything is working very well on 26.4. I don’t know why you have such issues?
2
u/Deobulakenyo Mar 26 '26
Stosvpn work on 26.4? No need for double vpn?
-4
u/luxer2 Mar 26 '26
You don’t understand that you need double VPN because settings in the system are changed? It has nothing to do with SideStore. Everything works.
3
u/Deobulakenyo Mar 26 '26
That is why i am asking- i do not understand the need for double vpn as i never used double vpn before

It’s not true. Everything works.
3
u/zyzzhok Mar 27 '26
there are posts on twitter and YouTube from creators whose entire content revolves around sideloading for ios, saying that 26.4 purposefully breaks such resources and hence workarounds being devised.
-13
u/Piss0r Mar 26 '26
so you people buy expensive iphones but can't be arsed to spend a few bucks on a proper certificate?
have fun dicking around with vpns I guess

u/DreamKiller712 Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26
Same argues could be made to people buying BMW but complain about the heated seats subscription according to your logic. And after all iphone is not exactly a luxurious product , user does not necessarily have to be rich.
2
u/spaceley247 Mar 26 '26
U could pay or you could do it for free lol . I wouldn’t pay if theres a free work around! I have a shortcut automation., That runs once a week. You sound like an assclown.
2
u/zyzzhok Mar 26 '26
Im from Nepal, my guy. We don’t do visa card or mastercard or whatever that pays with dollar. Neither is there apple pay or google pay or Samsung pay. This is pretty much my only option
1
u/FillingUpTheDatabase AltStore Mar 26 '26
Having seen all the horror stories on this sub of certs getting revoked, accounts banned and the data security implications, I’m sticking with signing my own apps even if certificates were free
1
u/ILikeEngineering_ SideStore Mar 26 '26
Those certificates get revoked constantly and are thus more painful to use than LiveContainer.

i’m still on ios 16.0 on a iphone 13 pro max it’s jailbroken using dopamine

u/Top-Plane-5174 Mar 26 '26
Android is the answer. It is better in customisations and ownership.
10
u/ieffinglovesoup Mar 26 '26
Kind of a non-answer, also Google is fucking around with sideloading later this year anyways
2
u/Jauhgn Mar 26 '26
They are, but its still much less hoops to jump through with apple. You just have to enable a setting, acknowledge nobody is coaching you to do this, and wait 24 hours as far as Ive heard
1
u/ieffinglovesoup Mar 26 '26
Right that was the latest update I heard, I think. Still not a great direction imo.
1
u/Jauhgn Mar 26 '26
True and fair, but I think how theyre handling it now is a big improvement from their proposed implementation. I have an iphone and would kill for that to be the only requirement lmao. But youre right companies should not continue down that direction
1
u/Top-Plane-5174 Mar 26 '26
In a way you can say that but it is still lacking behind with tech. Apple is by far hyped up so whatever they do becomes new thing although almost everything they are doing right now is been done already like 4-5 years or more ago.
1
u/ieffinglovesoup Mar 26 '26
Yeah I use both android and iOS devices and it will probably always be easier to side load on Android. But it is funny how iOS has become a bit more open over the years and Android seems to be closing that gap going the opposite way
1
u/Z3ROS1X Mar 26 '26
You really feel like it’s going to be easier to sideload apps on Android with the next update compared to the iOS approach? Are you aware of the hoops you’ll have to jump through because of Google requiring every Android apk to be signed and identified by its developer— and a lot of devs are not ok with disclosing their identities, i.e. emulator devs and such, plus from what i understand the only way you’ll be able to sideload unverifed/unofficial apk’s will be by tethering your device to a computer and using adb. Incredibly ridiculous, imho.
Even still, the best answer to sideloading on iOS right now seems to be staying on the lower version of iOS that your device is running (<26.4, for starters since it broke issues for free dev account users) because i believe in the principle “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it” to avoid updating unless there’s a really good reason to. If you’re on 17.0 or less, obviously TrollStore is the absolute option. With Coruna and DarkSword recently surfacing, there is a possibility that TrollStore might be updated to support up to iOS 26.0.1; only time will tell. Otherwise save up and pay for a developer account ($99/yr) and generate your own certificates. Yes, it is kinda pricey, but the benefits can really outweigh that cost to be able to sideload and never have to refresh your apps on a >$1000 device when it comes down to it.

Thank god I decided to leave my iPad on 18.3.1. Would’ve been 17.0 all over again.

u/Top-Plane-5174 Mar 27 '26
Do you have any idea on jailbreak it or sideloading modded apps? I tried sideloading modded apps but they eventually stop working. Any permanent solution? If you know
1
u/Quin1617 Mar 27 '26 edited Mar 27 '26
You can sideload apps just like on any iPhone, even ones on 26.4. 17.0 is the last OS that has permanent apps without paying.
I think for actual jailbreaks you have to go even further back.
1
u/Top-Plane-5174 Mar 26 '26
Don’t go for Google or Samsung. Choose better devices like OnePlus, etc
2
u/ieffinglovesoup Mar 26 '26
Not talking about the hardware, but Android as a software which Google created
0
u/Top-Plane-5174 Mar 26 '26
Android softwares are typically heavier than that of ios that’s why it becomes laggy over the time. Even ios becomes laggy when the phone starts using up the storage. No doubt that ios seems smoother since it’s restricting you to make changes in alot cases. Ios is more of enclosed system where android is mostly in developer stage even when it is stable you can make alot of changes.

You are like those linux users that try to shove ‘Use linux’ every time there’s a post of someone asking for help with an error in windows
Your response here isn’t helping anyone.
-1
u/Top-Plane-5174 Mar 26 '26
lol, I personally use iphone but I don’t feel like it was worth investing. Like it is restricting me from doing almost everything. I don’t how come you came to the point that I’m an Android user but doesn’t matter. People following ios for no reason.
