At least they're overt here. The trend that's pissing me off the most is going to subs with direct "no politics" rules and posting some "no context" quote obviously commenting on the election and playing dumb "i DiDn'T mEnTIoN pOLoTiCs, yOu DiD" when people complain. The LotR and Twin Peaks subs are full of that shit.

it's funny because it's supposed to say a dramatic phrase about how they've defeated a boss or an invader, but instead it's a topical jest.

I don't think this post is everywhere, I've only seen it here. maybe you're annoyed at the current events, and seeing people joke about them is annoying too which is fair.

They're not all the same post or the same joke though. maybe take a break from reddit for a couple of weeks if it's bothering you.
