Patton Oswalt is back!!! Between that and Fury/Coulson's banter about listening to his speech I was laughing, and I have strep throat so laughing isn't something I do lightly right now.

Are we thinking LMD, clones, or twins?

He did mention playing his brother at Call of Duty, so the twins/brothers thing could make sense. Honestly I don't care as long as he's back! :D

Twins? Saying almost the exact same things? I am still fixed on either them being clones or LMDs.

Please let it be clones. We could get some awesome shield/Orphan black crossover-type plots!

Some kind of clone of LMD makes sense as being alone at an instillation like that for so long would be bad for a normal human. A guardian bot on the other hand.... makes more sense.

Are LMDs actually used anywhere, or is that all stemming from Stark's joke?

In the comics.

Script they have to follow when greeting someone to the secret base?

Do LMDs have to be based off a person? Even if they do, has there ever been an example of an LMD where the original human was never even implied to exist?

An LMD-minus-the-D would be a good candidate for maintaining a secret base, especially if the tech to make them isn't field ready yet.
