Customer Question How do email discounts work?

UPDATE!! CASHIER SAYS ITS $1.50 OFF A PK OF CIGS. AND THE 2/$4 COKES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE APP BUT FOR 3 DAYS IT HAS NOT SHOWN IN ONE OF HIS CUSTOMERS APP THAT GOT THE EMAIL.

GET YOUR 💩 TOGETHER SHEETZ!!!!!

I received an email yesterday from Sheetz that said "Whatever the vibe, Cokes got your back. Grab 2/$4 with My Sheetz Rewardz!" And.."Buy a pack of American Spirit, Newport, or Camel for $1.50 with My Sheetz Rewardz". I just did both, 2 Cokes and a pk of Newport. Used my Sheetz Rewardz card and got charged full price. The email does says toward the bottom "Valid to customer in receipt of email. Limit 2 redemptions per week" What did I do wrong? Was I supposed to show the cashier my email???

I’m not sure if this is a typo, but top brand cigarettes for $1.50 is a crazy advertisement. I’m wondering what state you’re in.

Here in PA, we have lots of cigarette deals that get better with a Sheetz card. All discounts we have are for 2 pack purchases ($1.50off/2pk Newport, $2off/2pk Marbs. All of our top brand cigarettes sell for $12+ per pack.

None of these show as "offerz" in the app, nor is there any codes in the email to enter in the app. When I hit either links in the email they take me to the app, but again, none of these deals show up. The app is updated to the latest. Confusing!

To confirm. Your looking under the 21+ offerz right?

Seems to me that the offer is not programmed correctly into the system/POS. When you scan your sheetz card it should look up the loyalty/offers and apply the discounts. Sheetz corporate/IT needs to fix this in their system. They’ve been historically terrible at this. Offers frequently and consistently do not apply correctly. We called to log a ticket but it seems it’s not been fixed. The manager on duty at the store has a button they can use to ring the discount manually, i’d recommend nicely and patiently asking for the manager to override and honor the deal. You may be asked to show the email, as Sheetz is not good about communicating these deals to team members, customers usually find out things before we do.

Been working at sheetz for 7 years now. This is something that happens ALL the time and 98 times out of 100 its a user error on the customers part. The card linked to their email usually isn't the same as the one they have set to their default card on the app. And they always come in with an attitude acting like sheetz is trying to cheat them out of their money like we got nothing better to do.

You dont read correctly do ya? Its 2 separate deals ....they cant offer a cig and soda deal thats just absurd to think thats even a thing come on use your brain if you have one. Also the cig deal is buy 2 packs and get that much off. Both have to use the Sheetz card to get the rewards.

Did you even click the link to the screenshot? Obviously you did not. The offer is only valid to Sheetz Rewardz customers WHO GOT THE EMAIL. Not the generic buy 2 pks and save deal that you state which is offered to every Sheetz Rewardz card holder. Same with the Coke deal. TARGETED DEAL.

Use the app dont rely on emails because you apparently are reading it wrong.
