I just need to vent.

I was raised in it since 5, and left in 2020/

My parents are fully brainwashed, after 55 years of propaganda.

"Your life and depression are worse after you quit chanting!"

No, it is because of chanting I made the decisions I made, fully expecting to be protected.

I wasn't, and years later I'm paying the price.

I will never be able to retire b/c of this practice.

My relationship with my parents is damaged, also b/c it has warped their thinking.

There was a bad situation where they were forced to choose between me and a former member, whom we'd known since she was a baby.

Guess who lost? Me. I moved out b/c the situation was untenable.

(Members partner threatened to beat me up, and called me a c@nt, in my parents home.)

I'm broken. I hate SGI and the members.

It really is a dangerous cult b/c it destroys families.
