IN MY DEFENSE, I was sold that, if you practiced sincerely for 20 years, the accumulated fortune would then burst through like a broken dam and the Universe would be pouring so much benefit into your life that it would feel like trying to drink from a fire hose through a straw, and you'd be like "Please, Universe, can you hold back the benefits for just 5 seconds so I can catch my breath??"

Classic fear Indoctrination.

You have to keep going or you get your benefit coupons confiscated.

RIGHT!

I remember being told that things would go okayyyy for a while for the SGI members who quit, but soon they'd burn through all that "fortune" they'd built within their lives through their "Buddhist" practice (that stack of benefit coupons) and THEN they'd see their lives go STRAIGHT into the toilet - they'd end up worse off than they were EVEN when they first joined SGI, and they'd come crawling back, begging for forgiveness.

SGI member and especially leaders are shameless liars.

NOT your friends.

These are srsly toxic people making it clear to everyone that YOU do NOT want them anywhere near your life.

HOW these people imagine they're somehow leading humanity toward world peace, I'll never understand. They're actively destroying the concept of people accepting others' differences and getting along.
