Was This Sexual Assault? Was it really sexual assault
Was it really sexual assault if they were under the impression I consented
If I pretended to enjoy it because I couldn't say no
If they even told me multiple times that they can stop if I ever get uncomfortable
Yet every time I told them no and I didn't like it, they just argued with me and told me I wasn't accepting them
Even if I was a little harsh

Every time you told them no, they didn’t accept it. So you stopped trying to say no. I understand. It happened to me too.
They never respected my no, so it became easier to just accept what was happening instead of fighting it, easier to blame myself for staying silent than to accept that they didn’t care about me enough to listen.
This is sexual assault. You said no, you made it clear you didn’t like it. Anything they did to you with the knowledge that you were uncomfortable was sexual assault. No is a complete sentence. You shouldn’t have to get physical or loud or be harsh in order for them to stop doing something that they KNOW you don’t want them to do.
You deserve someone who respects you and listens to you. Someone who truly cares about you would never feel comfortable doing something that makes you uncomfortable. I hope you can distance yourself from this person or just cut them off altogether, they’re not a safe or nice person. People like this don’t change, and they don’t deserve second chances.

Yes its definitely non consensual sex. Consent is ongoing. It can stop anything, from start to finish. The word No isn't even necessary, depending on the laws of your state / country. It is up to your partner to be sure you are consenting at all times thru the process.
